Public Ka Expert Contest Terms & Conditions:

1. This Contest is organized by TV18 and shall commence from 15th March 2016 and shall close on 3rd April 2016 (both days inclusive) (“Term”). TV has the right, at its sole discretion, to terminate the Contest at any time before completion of the Term.

2. This Contest shall be held on a daily basis throughout the Term except on all/any Saturdays and Sundays falling during the Term.
3. This Contest is open only to Indian Citizens resident in India who are above 18 years of age.
4. This Contest is not open for employees and/or family members of employees of TV18 or any of their affiliate/subsidiaries/group companies.

5. The Contestant agrees to provide complete and correct information with respect to his/her identity, contact details, Permanent Account Number, age and such other information as may be required by TV18. TV18 has the right at any time to ask the Contestant to provide proof of identity and/or eligibility (which may include asking for a copy of your itemised telephone bill). Failure to provide such proof by Contestant immediately upon request by TV18, could result in his/her disqualification from the Contest and/or the withdrawal of the Prize/es (defined below) at the sole discretion of TV18.

6. This Contest is based on the T-20 World Cup .In this Contest, on each day of a cricket match held in the tournament, one question shall be asked during match days, wherein the viewers/contestants shall answer the question and thereafter submit entries to TV18 by sending an SMS to 51818.

7. Each day during the Term, amongst the correct entries, TV18 shall in their sole discretion, choose one.
8. The Winners of the Contest for each day will be declared within 5 working days during the Term.
9. Each Winner of the Contest shall be awarded a mobile phone worth upto Rs. 6,000/- (“Prize”). The Winners may also be granted an opportunity to speak on our channel IBN7 for 30 seconds in relation to the Contest.

10. All applicable taxes on the Prize, shall be payable by the Winner. If the Winner doesn’t claim the Prize within two weeks of the announcement of the winners, the Prize shall be awarded to another Contestant. The Winner shall get the Prize on payment of the applicable taxes by way of a demand draft.

11. TV18 accepts no responsibility under any circumstance whatsoever for including but not limited to incomplete or incomprehensible entries, for technical and/or telephone networks, which become lost, misdirected or delayed. Any such entries will be deemed void and the decision of TV18 in this respect will be final and binding.

12. During the Term, for a particular day, only the entries sent before the beginning of each cricket match shall be considered valid.

13. In the event that any of the Winners selected by TV18 is unwilling or unable to give his/her acceptance to the Terms and Conditions of the Contest, TV18 shall select another winner who gives his/her acceptance to the Terms and Conditions of the Contest. The Winners of the Prize will be announced only after the give an acceptance of compliance of the Terms and Conditions of the Contest here.

14. The Prize would be delivered / handed over to the Winner only after proper identification and verification.
15. In the instant Contest, there can only be one Winner from one particular household.
16. TV18 shall not be responsible for the colour, make, quality, delivery, and deficiency of any product and/or service, in relation to the Prize in any manner whatsoever.
17. The Prize shall not be transferable / redeemable for kind. No request shall be entertained by TV18 in this regard.

18. TV18 shall contact the Winners on the telephone numbers provided by them while entering the Contest, to a maximum of three (3) times. In the event that the Winner is not available/reachable on the number provided by him/her, the Winner forfeits his/her right to the Prize and TV18 may in its sole discretion hand over the Prize to another winner and the same shall be final and binding.

19. If the telephone number of the Contestant has been transferred to another individual after entry into the Contest, the Contestant who owned the telephone number at the time of entry into the contest shall not claim the Prize make any claims in respect of the Contest in this regard.
20. If the Winner does not convey acceptance within 24 hrs of intimation of the same, the Prize shall unconditionally and irrevocably lapse and the Winner will cease to have any right, interest or claim in the same.
