Logo Design Contest :

Manipal Institute of Technology is looking forward for the Diamond Jubilee celebrations during the year 2017. We invite participants in the logo design contest. The selected design will be used for all the purposes during 2017.

Eligibility:
Students, Staff, Alumni of Manipal University are eligible to participate in this Contest.

Registration: Free.

Terms and Conditions:
** The logo will be used online, in print, on merchandise etc.
** All submitted work must be original and not based on any pre-existing design. Participant should take care to ensure that their logo design are not in any way similar to existing logos in full or partial or other copyrighted images.
** The winners of this contest will agree to transfer all rights and title to Manipal Institute of Technology in accordance with the Official Rules of the contest. They will be registered by the Institute as a Service Mark.
** The winner will be required to sign a contract assigning all ownership of the logo to the institute.

Prizes:
Subject to the terms and conditions outlined above, the winning design will be announced/ uploaded tentatively on 15/04/2016.

Prize: Rs 10,000/-

Submission Guidelines:
1. Due to the requirements for high quality printing and re-sizing entries must be submitted in scalable vector graphic format (EPS). We advise against the use of halftones and gradients unless created inside a vector graphics program. Color in this version must be CMYK, no spot colors.
2. Flexibility is a key requirement, including the need to resize easily and to look good in black and white as well as in color.
3. The final version of the logo will need to be suitable for high quality printing. While the logo needs to look good at relatively small sizes, it will not need to be shrunk for use as a Favicon.
4. Every received design will be acknowledged within 2 working days. However, we cannot be responsible for entries or responses lost in e-mail.
5. Submit duly completed registration form along with the logo to diamond.mit@manipal.edu.
6. The Last Date for Entries is 12.00am IST on 10/04/2016.

Judging and Selection of Winner:
1. The winning design will be selected by judges appointed for the purpose. Their decision will be final. No further correspondence shall be entertained.
2. The institute reserves the right to disqualify any participant at its sole discretion.
