Police Commando Competition:
1. The 6th All India Police Commando Competition-2015 will be conducted at BSF Academy, Tekanpur, Gwalior from 30th March 2016 – 05th April 2016. States / UT Police Forces / CPOs may field one Commando Team in the competition.

Aim:
2. The aim of this competition is to enhance physical and mental robustness, shooting skills, leadership qualities under stressful conditions and foster team spirit among the participants.
Composition of the Team:
3. States / UT Police Forces / CPOs/ CAPFs will field one Commando team as under:-
(a) OIC : 01
(b) Others : 21
Team Participants : 22
(c) Reserves : 02
4. Team must have 22 Nos. of Participants irrespective of ranks, however team leader should be minimum of the rank of Sub-Inspector. Team is permitted to bring two reserves. No substitution will be permissible after the start of briefing of STO jungle.
5. There is no age limit for the participants. All participants of the teams must be medically fit. Each team will carry Medical fitness certificates, issued by their Medical Officer / Doctor after 1st March 2016.
6. An individual already participated three times in AIPCCs, can’t be the part of the team including reserve participants. This condition also mentioned at srl no -03 of certificate in entry form. If such participants found in the team, in such case the team is liable for disqualification.
7. Entry fee for the competition will be Rs. 50/- per participants including Team Managers / Team Captains / Coaches and others (Erroneously Rs. 500/- was mentioned in Joining Instructions as entry fee instead of Rs. 50/- per participants). Rs. 1000/- is security money which is refundable.
These amounts are to be sent to the “Organizing Secretary, 6th All India Police Commando Competition 2015” along with entry form. It is requested that this amount may be remitted through Bank Draft / cash in favor of Organizing Secretary, 6thAll India Police Commando Competition 2015, payable at State Bank of India, BSF Academy, Tekanpur (A/C no 35578210228, Branch code – 8284 and IFS Code – SBIN0008284).
8. Each team will submit “Entry form” duly signed by Officer not below the rank of Inspector General of Police fifteen days prior to the commencement of the competition.
9. A random Dope Test will be conducted during the competition to prevent individuals from taking performance enhancing substances / drugs.
10. The Umpire/ Officials, Jury and Technical Committee for the competition will be from participating CPOs and SPOs.

11. (a) For Opening & Closing Ceremony:
(i) Commando dress (T-shirt not permitted)
(ii) Web/Synthetic belt as prescribed by the respective State/Force
(iii) Anklet / Boot Patti
(iv) Boot
(v) Cap / Patka as prescribed by respective State/Force
(b) For Briefing:
(i) Commando Dress (T-shirt not permitted)
(ii) Web / Synthetic belt / Commando rope as prescribed by the respective State/Force
(iii) Anklet / Boot Patti/ Ankle high boots (Jungle, DMS or any other boots as prescribed by the respective State/Force)
(iv) Helmet /Camouflaged Jungle-Hat/Monkey-Cap/Patka
(v) Personal weapons with one empty Magazine each of Primary & Secondary weapons
(c) For 1.3 and 2.4 Kms Run:
(i) Commando Dress (T-shirt not permitted)
(ii) 10Kg Back Pack
(iii) Web / Synthetic belt / Commando rope as prescribed by the respective State/Force
(iv) Anklet / Boot Patti/ Ankle high boots (Jungle, DMS or any other boots as prescribed by the respective State/Force)
(v) Helmet /Camouflaged Jungle-Hat/Monkey-Cap/Patka
(vi) Personal weapons with one empty Magazine each of Primary & Secondary weapons
(d) Confidence Course:
(i) Commando Dress (T-shirt not permitted)
(ii) Anklet / Boot Patti / Ankle high boots (Jungle, DMS or any other boots as prescribed by the respective State/Force)
(iii) Web Belt / commando rope as prescribed by the respective State/Force
(e) Firing:
(i) Commando dress (T-shirt not permitted)
(ii) Web / Synthetic belt / Commando rope as prescribed by the respective State/Force
(iii) Anklet / Boot Patti / Ankle high boots (Jungle, DMS or any other boots as prescribed by the respective State/Force)
(iv) Helmet / BPP compulsory
(v) Personal weapons (Primary & Secondary)
(f) For Small Team Operation (Jungle):
(i) Commando dress (T-shirt not permitted)
(ii) Web / Synthetic belt / Commando rope as prescribed by the respective State/Force
(iii) Personal weapons with one empty Magazine each of Primary & Secondary
(iv) Anklet / Boot Patti / Ankle high boots (Jungle, DMS or any other boots as prescribed by the respective State/Force)
(v) Helmet / BPP compulsory
(vi) 10 kg Back Pack
(g) For Small Team Operation (Urban):
(i) Commando dress (T-shirt not permitted)
(ii) Web / Synthetic belt / Commando rope as prescribed by the respective State/Force.
(iii) Anklet / Boot Patti / Ankle high boots (Jungle, DMS or any other boots as prescribed by the respective State/Force)
(iv) Personal weapons with one empty Magazine each of Primary & Secondary
(v) Helmet / BPP compulsory
(Note – Commando dress comprises of Shirt & trousers or Dangri. T-shirt doesn’t form the part of Commando dress for the competition).
Duration:
12. It will be a nine days event including opening & closing ceremonies. Participating teams will be put through the competition in six stages-
(a) Stage-I : Preparation of operational plans based on narratives for both Small Team Operations.
(b) Stage-II : Briefing for Small Team Operation (Jungle).
(c) State-III : Confidence course.
(d) Stage-IV : Firing.
(e) Stage-V : Execution of Small team operation (Jungle).
(f) Stage-VI : Briefing and Execution of Small Team Operation (Urban).
