Global Computer Olympiad:
** The aim of the GCO is to check and develop Aptitude in computers at early stage in students as it is required to get ready not only for future but also for present.

** Computer is an electronic device used in almost every field even where it is most unexpected. That is why this age is called as the era of IT. And now we cannot imagine a world without computers. It is made up of two things one is the hardware and other is software.
** All physical components of computer like keyboard, mouse, monitor etc comes under the hardware whereas all the programs and languages used by the computer are called software.These days computers are the tools for not only engineers and scientists but also they are being used by millions of people around the world.
** Computer has become very important nowadays because it is very much accurate, fast and can accomplish many tasks easily. In future a student want to join banking, communication , medical sciences, media, education or any other field you can think of, the good aptitude in computer is essential.
Eligibility For GCO Preliminary Exam:
** All the students studying in class Ist to XIIth are eligible to participate in this exam.
** In the Preliminary Stage, students can participate only through their respective schools.
** The Preliminary Exam will be conducted at the schools only.
Eligibility For GCO Final:
** On the basis of performance in the Preliminary, Top 3 students of each class of every school will automatically qualify for finals.
** In addition to above condition, Students scoring more than 50% in Preliminary Stage will also qualify for finals
Exam Pattern:
There will be 30 multiple choice Questions with single correct answer. There will be no negative marking for the classes I to V. For these classes 4 marks will be awarded for correct answer and no marks will be deducted or awarded for wrong or un -attempted questions. For the classes VI to XII 4 marks will be awarded for correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for wrong answers. No Marks will be awarded or deducted for un -attempted questions.
GCO Preliminary:
** This exam are conducted at school level only the month of September & October all over India.
** In Preliminary Exam students can participate only on behalf of school.
** The Preliminary Exam will be conducted in their respective schools only.
GCO Final:
** Students scoring above 50% will be qualified for finals
** Top 3 students of each class of each school will automatically qualify for finals.
Exam Fee :
Global Computer Olympiad (GCO) Fee for Class Ist to XIIth Rs. 100 per student. Student may submit fee in school or pay through our online payment gateway.
Payment Method:
** Payment can be made by cash.
** The duly filled Registration form should be accompanied by a crossed Demand Draft (any nationalized bank) in favour of Global Olympiad Federation payable at Delhi.
** You can pay online by Credit Card/ Debit Card/ NET Banking through our payment gateway.
Registration Process:
Offline Process:
** Student can collect registration form from exam coordinator of school by submitting Rs. 100 as registration fee.
** After filling the form it should be submit to the exam coordinator of school.
Online Process:
** Student can register through online process also.
** You can make online payment through payment gateway or take a printout of the form and submit it with fee to the school coordinator.
