Steps to Participate:
1.Choose any 2 localities you wish to do photo-STORY on & Register
2.Your Photo-STORY should strictly be based on one of the themes specified below
3.Send in your photo-STORIES (min. 7 photographs) via WeTransfer.com to mpd@indiaproperty.com
4.Photo-STORIES to be sent to us on or before 26th July, 2015
Conditions:
1) The Madras Photo Diaries (MPD) contest(“Contest” / “Offer”) is brought to you by India Property Online Private Limited (“Company/Organizer”).
2) Entry to the contest is open only to students pursuing either full time or part time courses in a Govt. recognised college
3) Contest duration is from 17th July 2015 00:01 hours to 26th of July 2015 23:59 hours, IST
4) To participate in the Contest and be eligible for the prizes of the contest, the User also should fulfill all the criterion in Annexure attached.
5) Users will have to provide valid contact details on the dashboard of the application to be hosted on indiaproperty.com/mpd to be eligible for the prizes. Modus operandi:
a. The winner shall be decided as per the Rules and Regulations
b. All registrations and applicable taxes including gift tax shall be borne by the winner
6) Users are encouraged to participate in the Contest from the dashboard of the application at indiaproperty.com/mpd to get all updates during the contest. They are also encouraged to provide as many photo stories as possible during the contest period to increase their chances of winning the grand prize. However, it is clarified that one winner will be entitled for only one prize under this promotion.
7) The Organizer reserves its right to change all or any of the aforesaid schedules/prices/process without any prior notice to the Participants.
8) The results and gratifications will be declared at the sole discretion of the Organizer.
Important Covenants :
1) The Organizers will not be liable for any loss of data/image due to server issues and other technical faults that may come up in the real time monitoring of the photos sent out by users during the contest period. In such a scenario the Organizers reserve the right to decide on the winners.
2) Winners will be announced at the sole discretion of the Organizers.
3) All the winners will be contacted by the representatives of the Organizer on the contact details shared on the dashboard of the application at the time of registration. In case the winner is not reachable or the Prize cannot be redeemed by him for any reason whatsoever, the Organizer will reserve the right to pass on the Grand Prize to another participant or forfeit the prize entirely, without any further notice to the winner.
4) The winners will be required to furnish the complete name, email address and phone number and such other information/details as may be asked by the Company representative.
5) The choice of the contest and its order is at the sole discretion of the Organizers.
6) The Organizers or their representatives will contact the winner at the contact number/email address given by him/her and verify the claim before redeeming the prize. Award of prizes is subject to the verification by the Organizer. After verification the winner will be informed of the entire process of redemption of the Prize.
7) All other expenses not expressly included above will not be borne by the Organizers or any other agency on Organizer’s behalf, and will be the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
8) Organizers shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or any other liability arising out of this contest participation/anything else for which the winners will be required to sign an indemnity in favour of Organizers.
9) If any Winner fails to receive the price when specified by the Organizer the Prize will either be passed to the next highest scorer or be forfeited in its entirety without any notice/intimation to the original winner.
10) The Organizers shall not be liable for any cancellations and/or delays in the due to any reason including but not limited to force majeure, logistical problems etc. and the winner shall not have any claim against Organizers for the same and shall be deemed to have availed of his/her prize. Organizers shall not be responsible for any such eventuality and the winner undertakes not to claim any compensation from Organizers for the same.
11) Dates when the winner may redeem his/her prize are entirely at the discretion of Organizers.
12) Decision of Organizer’s will be final and binding with regard to promotion and prizes and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
13) Notification of the winner status must be kept confidential until the Winners are publicly revealed by the Organizer or the winner’s prize will be forfeited.
14) At the Organizer’s request, winners must participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize, free of charge, and they consent to the Organizer using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph,film and/or recording of the same) in promotional material or in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this programme (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Organizer.
15) The Organizer reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity and Indian residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Organizer.
16) The prizes are personal to the winners and are not transferrable and cannot be sold under any circumstances.
17) No cash payment will be made in lieu of the prize.
18) As a condition of accepting the prize, winners may be required to sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Organizer and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
19) The Organizers accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Winners will have to bear incidental costs, if any, that may arise for redemption of the prize.
20)Organizers shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or any other liability arising out of the Promotion or due to participation by any person in the Promotion.
21) Organizer shall not be liable for any loss or damage due to Act of God, governmental actions, other force majeure circumstances and shall not be liable to pay any amount as compensation or otherwise for any such loss.
22) All taxes/levies and charges on prizes will be the responsibility of the winner. Taxes as applicable will be deducted at the source for all prizes or shall be deposited in advance by the winner and produce proof before claiming the prize.
23) The Organizer reserves the right to change/modify/or withdraw the Contest without any prior notice of the same at its sole discretion. The Organizer reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions without any prior notice.
24) All disputes relating to this Promotion shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Courts at Chennai only.
