Result of English Recitation :
This year’s Cultural competition received an enrollment of approximately four thousand participants, which is expected to rise up further as the competition proceeds due to the provision of spot enrollment provided at the particular day of the competition.

In the category of English Recitation Group H for the Nursery class, the total enrollment recorder was 104 and an attendance of 76 was recorded. As the tiny tots took to the stage with much enthusiasm showcasing their budding talents, Daphilahun Wahlang, a student of St. Joseph’s English School, along with her fellow mate Doleres Phibapyndapbok K. Kharmnuid, bagged the first prize jointly. Viviancy Mary Khyriem bagged the second prize and Haphibaiahun Rodborne of Step by Step school stood third. Besides, special encouragement awards were also given to the other participants who performed well and were close finishers in terms of points.

The next competition began shortly, featuring tiny buds of class KG in Group G of English Recitation. The total recorded enrollment was 187 out of which an attendance of 152 participants was recorded. Miss Daniela Raziel Lato of Pine Mount School, bagged the first prize while the second and third prize went to Trisha Sunar of Loreto Convent, and Davinia Victor Wahlang of Pine Mount School respectively. Even in this category, participants who finished very close to the toppers of the list were applauded for their performance with a special encouragement prize.

The post lunch session set underway as the Class V students from various schools competed for the top notches, in Group C-1 of the English Recitation. A total enrollment of 109 students was recorded where an attendance of 68 participants were present for the competition. Tiara Lana Khyriem of Pine Mount School walked away with the first prize while the second prize went jointly to Samridhi Deokota of Pine Mount School, Fermecia Liana Moore Law of Army Public School and Prety Sharma of St. Thomas English School. The third prize was dominated by Pine Mount School where the joint winners were Devyani Singh and Afroza T.

Result of Sanskrit & Hindi Recitation :
The Sunday session, Day 2, commenced on July 5, ’15, as the rich eccentricity of our Sanskrit Language was revived with the beautiful pieces presented by the students of Class V – VII, under the category of Group A-1. The total enrollment for this category was 32 out of which an attendance of 16 was recorded. Vidnohi Upadhaya of Kendriya Vidyalaya, NEHU, held the first position while Ms. Smita Dey of Laitumkhrah Bengali Secondary School ascertained confirmation on her claim to the second spot. Debasmita Chakrabarty of Pine Mount School stood at the third position. Special encouragement awards were given out in this category to the students who performed well and were close finishers.

The Sanskrit category recitation was also open for Group A – II, where participants of class VII to X competed for the top spots. The total enrollment was 17 out of which an attendance of 12 participants was recorded. Sayantan Nandi of Army Public School claimed stake to the first prize while Deigracia Thanbru of Laitumkhrah Bengali Secondary School bagged the second prize. The third prize was secured by Prithi Deb of Laitumkhrah Bengali Secondary School. In this category, only one Special Encouragement prize was awarded for the commendable performance of Nayan Nandan Deb of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Happy Valley.

The Hindi category recitation followed soon after for the students of Class III-IV, Group D, where participants competed and put up an organized fight. The total enrollment was 87 out of which an attendance of 62 participants was recorded. Anjalee Rao of Army Public School claimed stake to the first prize while Naisha of Army Public School Happy Valley bagged the second prize. The third prize was secured by Debbie Lalchhanchhuahi of Army Public School. In this category, only three Special Encouragement prize was awarded for commendable performance.

Hindi category recitation followed after, for the students of Class V-VI, Group C, where participants competed and put up an organized fight. The total enrollment was 99 out of which an attendance of 61 participants was recorded. Tejika Kanwar of Army Public School claimed stake to the first prize while Anuvanshika Shrivastava of Army Public School bagged the second prize. The third prize was secured by Puja Pradhan of Army Public School. In this category, only three Special Encouragement prize was awarded for commendable performance.

Hindi category recitation followed after, for the students of Class VII-VIII, Group B, where participants competed and put up an organized fight. The total enrollment was 87 out of which an attendance of 62 participants was recorded. Roshini Das of Army Public School claimed stake to the first prize while Nandini Deka of Army Public School bagged the second prize. The third prize was secured jointly by Aditee Kashyap of Pine Mount School and Ananta Upadhaya of Kendriya Vidyalaya NEHU. In this category, only one Special Encouragement prize was awarded for commendable performance.
