#ModernDayFairytale Terms & Conditions:

** The following are the terms and conditions governing the “#ModernDayFairytale” contest hosted by Star India Private Limited  for the promotion of the film “Disney’s Cinderella” on Star Movies Select HD from 9:00 pm to 11:08 pm on June 11th, 2016 (IST) . The contest shall be held on Star Movies India Twitter profile at the URL twitter.com/starmoviesindia  with the @StarMoviesIndia handle

** The contest invites interested person’s to participate in the Contest (“Participant(s))” by answering an objective question and tweeting a modern take on a classic fairytale in their own words. All such tweets must be made using the hashtag “#ModernDayFairytale” (“Hashtag”) and Participant(s) must follow all required mandates herein below.

** The Contest shall commence on June 11th, 2016 at 6:00 pm Indian Standard Time (“IST”) and will end on June 11th, 2016 at 9:30 pm IST (“Contest Period/Period”). Any tweets received after the Contest Period shall not be valid or considered in the Contest.

** Any information gathered through these Terms and Conditions including the Entry shall be subject to Star India’s Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) which is available at startv.com/in and incorporated herein by reference.
** The contest invites interested persons to participate in the Contest by sending creative /new /novel and original tweets and following all required mandates herein below

Principle Rules:

1. To participate in the Contest the Participant(s) shall follow the procedure as detailed below:
a) Participant(s) must be citizens of India and of 18 (eighteen) years of age or above at the start date of the Contest Period. The Participant(s) should not have criminal conviction or an arrangement or a contract that prevents the Participant(s) from participating in the Contest.

b) Employees of and/or consultants of and/or persons hired on contract by Star India and the members of their immediate family members are ineligible from participating in the Contest.

c) All Participant(s) must have a valid Twitter account to be eligible to participate in the Contest. For the sake of clarity, it is hereby agreed to and confirmed by the Participant(s) that the same does not include a Twitter account opened and operated by a family member and/or friend of the Participant(s).

d) The Process of the Contest:
i. Participant(s) are required to tweet the answer to an objective question related to the Film (“Question”) that is posted on the Twitter Page during the Contest Period using the Hashtag and tagging the Twitter Handle and tweet a modern take on a classic fairytale in their own words as per the scenarios (“Scenarios”) that are posted on the Twitter Page during the Contest Period using the Hashtag and tagging the Twitter Handle.

Both the answer to the Question and the tweet as per the Scenarios shall be collectively referred to as “Entry/Entries”. For sake of clarity, all answers to the Question shall be correct and the tweet as per the Scenarios shall be original/creative and novel.

ii. Entries submitted without the Hashtag and tagging the Twitter Handle shall be considered null and void. For the sake of clarity, it is to be noted that participants are required to answer all the questions put forth during the Contest Period in order to be eligible to be shortlisted for winning the Contest.

e) For the avoidance of doubt, for the purpose of calculation of the time period taken by the Participant(s) to publish an Entry, Star India shall rely on the time stamp of such Entry. Star India’s decision in this regard shall be final and binding.

f) It is the sole responsibility of the Participant(s) to ensure that the Entry submitted does not infringe the rights of any third party including rights in any intellectual property and shall be original in form. Duplicate Entries and/or two or more identical Entries shall be disqualified from the Contest.

g) The Participant(s) shall ensure that the Entry is decent and is not immoral, defamatory, abusive, offensive, insensitive, libelous or blasphemous to any person, religious sect or section of the society, defamatory of any person deceased or alive, etc.

h) Each Participant shall follow the Twitter Handle. Failure to comply with the same shall render the Participant(s) Entry invalid.
i) Each Entry shall be judged inter alia, on the basis of its correctness, its relevancy to the Contest, its originality, uniqueness, innovativeness, quality of writing and creativity. The decision of Star India is final and binding in this regard.

j) At the end of the Contest Period, out of all the Entry/ies received within the Contest Period, 5 five Participant(s) whose Entries are valid and compliant on the aforesaid parameters shall be eligible to win the Contest (“Shortlisted Participant(s)”).

Such Participant(s) from the Shortlisted Participant(s) who fulfill all of the requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions including submitting of valid Documents (defined herein below) to the satisfaction of Star India shall be entitled to win.
