Maharashtra Air Weapon Competition:
** The Maharashtra Rifle Association [MRA] will organize the Maharashtra Air Weapon Competition July -2016/2, [MAWC] from 07th to 10th July 2016 at MRA Shooting Ranges, Worli Sea face North, Mumbai 400030.

** The MRA organizes MAWC for the purpose of periodic internal assessment and to enable shooters to qualify for the various State and National Level competitions, as per the rules of the NRAI and the MRA.
** These competitions are also recognized by MRA for the selection of the various teams that represent Maharashtra State at all the National Level Competitions.
Please Note:
** The MAWC is an INTERNAL COMPETITION conducted only for the above mentioned purposes and cannot be used for any schemes like the 5%quota for jobs and the 25 marks for the SSC and HSC students announced by the Department of Sports – Govt. of Maharashtra.
** The scores achieved by shooters in the MAWC can only be utilized for the above mentioned purpose and no other purpose whatsoever.
** The Open Sight Air Rifle event will be conducted in the format of the MAWC only for the Students of schools and junior colleges who are below 19 years, for the purpose of qualifying for the National Inter School competition conducted by the NRAI.
** There will be only one category Open Sight Air Rifle Event in the MAWC format and the scores achieved in this competition will enable shooters to qualify to participate in the National Inter School competition.
** Shooters desiring to participate in the competition should complete the attached entry form and send the form along with proof of entry fee – original cash deposit slip, to the MRA office.
** Details of MRA Bank Account [Bank of Maharashtra – a/c no 60084439497]. The last date of receipt of entry form is 30.06.2016. Incomplete entry forms are liable for rejection
Note:
1. All entry forms must be accompanied with appropriate entry fee, without which entry forms will not be accepted.
2. All weapons and ammunition must comply with NRAI / ISSF Rules.
3. All the matches will be conducted as per ISSF rules & NRAI Match Book.
4. Participants will have to bring their own arms/ammunition and other equipments.
5. Absentees will not be allowed to take part in a later detail even if a lane is vacant in that detail.
6. If a participant is absent, another participant will not be permitted to shoot in his place.
7. The particulars of details will be put up on the Notice Board one day prior to the date of the actual event and all participants should keep themselves informed by referring to the Notice Board.
8. No request regarding firing points / relays / dates will be entertained, irrespective of the fact whether the entry form is accepted.
9. A participant is required to be present at the firing point 15 minutes prior to the commencement of his detail.
