Avishkar Quiz :
** Central Board of Secondary Education in its endeavor to support this movement has successfully conducted the first series of Avishkar Quiz with phenomenal response from schools.

** The 2nd Series of Avishkar Quiz competitions to promote creativity and innovative spirit among school children in the area of Science, Mathematics and Technology starts 11th July 2016 with a school level competition.
** The schools may conduct the quiz on any day during 11th to 15th July 2016. The school level quiz competition will be followed by an online quiz competition conducted by the Board on 26th July 2016 for the selected students from the school level competition.
The details of the quiz competition are as under:
Target Group:
The school children in the schools affiliated to Central Board of Secondary education in the following categories.
Primary: I- V
Middle: VI- VIII
Secondary: IX –XII
Eligibility:
Any bonafide student of a school affiliated to CBSE studying in classes I to XII (age 6-18) can participate in the competition in the respective categories
Stages:
Face to Face Competition at schools followed by selection of best talents by CBSE through an online quiz.
Medium: English/Hindi
Theme for July: Atmosphere
Prizes:
** Ten students from each category (Primary- 10, Middle-10 and Secondary-10) shall be identified on the basis of maximum scores obtained and minimum time taken for completion of the Online Quiz.
** The cash prize of Rs. 2500/- will be awarded only to the best scorers of Primary and Middle level after the online Quiz. For claiming the prize money, the
** Principal of the school shall sent a bonafide certificate of the winner in the performa given in the circular within three days of declaration of the result through email.
** The Board shall release the prize money based on the copy received through the email.
** The top 10 scorers of Secondary category will have to further participate in a competition at National level to claim the prize. The details regarding this competition will be communicated later
Conduct of the Quiz Competition:
To ensure wider participation of students and involvement of schools and selection of the winners on merit, the competition is proposed in two stages:
Stage: 1- School Level Competition:
The schools may conduct the quiz on any day during 11th to 15th July 2016 in the area of Mathematics, Science and Technology in the three categories mentioned above. The focus should
Stage: 2 – Online Quiz conducted by the Board:
The board shall allot user id and password to each winner of the first stage as per the online report submitted by the School and the same shall be sent to the email id provided by the Principal in the report.

Online Quiz is finished but I did not get the questions about motion. I get maths question why? I attempt all questions but there are also wrong answer so I will not select for next stage. I completed my quiz before 5 minutes.
Why didn't we get a correct idea for the topic of quiz for class 8?
More than 90% of the quiz was based on motion based on maths.

Topic for the quiz is motion. Can you please give some sample questions for class 4th and 5th to make them understood. What kind of questions will be coming? Many times we had participated in this Aavishkar quiz but this quiz is just a quiz. Neither you had given any sample quest and server always down. We are doing lot of hard work to prepare our students to sit in this quiz but every time their morale comes down. Please don't something to boost their confidence.
I would like to have some sample paper of the CBSE AVISHKAR Quiz which were conducted on few previous years or I would like to have the web address of the site where I can find those sample papers.

My son studying in Rashtrotthana,Bangalore was unable to even start the quiz as it kept directing him to the login page and when he tried to login, kept getting the error 'already logged in'. The child felt very disappointed.

My kid of Sishya school class III had prepared very well for the second level online exam today on Atmosphere, but unfortunately when she tried login from her school it showed server error. Will she be allowed to take exam again for such technical errors. We feel disappointed . Kindly advise.
