3D Student Design Challenge 2016 :

Rolling on to the sixth season this year, 3D Student Design Challenge 2016 invites students from Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Mechanical, Automobile, Industrial Production, Product Design and related disciplines to showcase digital design skills on a challenging platform.

Take on the challenge to create innovative and sustainable BIM/3D designs, put on your creative caps and submit 3D / BIM design projects for judging by a panel of industry experts. To make sure the scoring is not compromised, be sure to follow the rules and use only Autodesk portfolio of products to create your design projects.

Eligibility:
The competition is open to students, who at the time of entry & finals, are:
** At least 18 years old or over
** Registered full-time students of Polytechnics, Vocational and Engineering in India at the time of entry*) from a Recognized University; and are
** Pursuing Graduation or Post-Graduation from a Recognized University
** Residents of India as prescribed by applicable law

Prizes:
Fusion Challenge:
This is a National Level Monthly Competition where 30 Top Designs will be selected every month and each Winner will get $ 50. Winners will be announced at the end of each month.

BIM Challenge:
Competition starts on 1st July and ends on 30th November. Winners will be announced on 30th December.
** 1st Prize- Rs. 10000
** 2nd Prize- Rs. 7500
** 3rd Prize- Rs. 5000

Start Date and Last Date:
** Competition begins on July 1, 2016 (the “Start Date”) and the last date of submission ends on 30th of every month (Since this is a monthly competition) for Fusion 360 (the “Last Date”). Competition begins on July 1, 2016 (the “Start Date”) and the last date of submission ends on 30th November 2016 (Since there is only one competition) for Revit (the “Last Date”).

** Entries for the Competition must be received by Organiser no later than 11:59 p.m. Indian Standard Time on 30th of every month (Since this is a monthly competition) (the “Last Date”). Phase 2 of the Competition will be notified on this website as and when the Organiser decides to commence the same, if at all.

How to Enter:
Entries must comply with the entry requirements identified in these T&C (including in this Section A and in Section B below), as well as with any specific on the “Registration” page for the Competition on the Organiser’s competition website. It is each student team’s responsibility to ensure compliance with those requirements. Non-compliance may lead to disqualification.

Winner Selection:
A. BIM Design – AutoDesk Revit Challenge- There is only one competition and winner will be selected on 30 December 2016. B. Mechanical Design – Autodesk Fusion 360 Challenge- National Level Monthly Competition- 30 Top Designs shall be selected every month. Each category shall have design brief options details of which can be found on the competition website.
