Surf Competition:

This year, the Covelong Point Classic Surf Competition will take place on August 26th-28th – the Surfing Federation of India will organize a national level surf competition for Indian competitors.

Contest Rules & Regulations:
1. Contestants under 18 years of age need have a parent/guardian sign the Participant’s Release
2. Bring your own gear and equipment
3. You must be in good health and fit to surf
4. Drugs & Alcohol are strictly prohibited
5. Sign the Participant Release
6. Judges decisions are final
7. Every registered participant is supposed to bring their Original ID’s and present it at the registration desk on the event day for age verification etc..
8. Participants who don’t hold Indian Passports DO NOT come under Local Categories.
9. Each Category must have minimum of 5 participants, if not that category will be canceled.

** In applying to the Covelong Point Classic Surf Contest, I promise to inspect the contest site and assure myself that the area is safe for surfing and further agree that I WILL NOT surf in the contest unless I am satisfied that the area is safe for surfing purposes.

** On Covelong Point Classic Surf Contest’s acceptance of my entry to participate in the event, I hereby agree to assume all risks incident to the sport of surfing. I fully understand and comprehend the dangers of surfing created by existing weather conditions, forces of the ocean and the ocean waves.

** With full knowledge, comprehension and understanding of these dangers, including risks arising from conditions related to use of the contest site by others and myself, I hereby voluntarily accept and assume all risks involved in the spirit of competitive surfing.
