Rules:
All information including ‘Title of Image’ must be in the English alphabet.

FIAP Rule :

1. The exhibition is open to anyone; however, an entry may be rejected when the sponsoring organization or its agent, in its reasonable discretion, believes the entry does not conform to the exhibition rules and conditions.
2. Entries must originate as photographs (image-captures of objects via light sensitivity) made by the entrant on photographic emulsion or acquired digitally.
3. By virtue of submitting an entry, the entrant certifies the work as his own (aliases are not permitted). The entrant permits the sponsors to reproduce all or part of the entered material free of charge for publication and/or display in media related to the exhibition. This may include low resolution posting on a website.

Note:
Entrants who indicate that their images may not be reproduced or used “will not be eligible for awards” or inclusion in audio-visuals of the exhibition “and could be subject to disqualification” by the exhibition sponsors.

4. The exhibition assumes no liability of any misuse of copyright. All final work must be on photographic film, or on electronic file, or on photographic or electronic print material, mounting excepted. Images may be altered, either digitally or otherwise, by the entrant.
5. Colour or Monochrome version of the same image can be entered in one section only, either open colour section or open monochrome section.

6. Digital Image Submissions:
** Digital images must be submitted online directly through our web site www.aalokbaani.org .
** Entries will not be accepted on CD or eMAIL.
** Please use full title of the image in the Entry Form ( Max: 35 Characters with NO SPECIAL CHARACTERS; ONLY Roman English Alphabets and Numbers allowed), as you want them to be printed in the catalogue.
** Each image must have a unique title.

Once an image has been accepted, that same image, or a like “in camera” or a “reproduction” duplicate of that image:
i. May not be re-entered in any section of the exhibition regardless of media, format, or title.
ii. May not be re-titled for entry. Words such as “Untitled” and “No Title” are not acceptable as part or all of an image’s title, nor are camera capture filenames or titles consisting of only numbers.

7. Entries must be limited to not more than four digital images per section. An entrant’s four images will be distributed throughout four rounds of judging. Each image must have a unique title.
8. No title or identification of the maker shall be written anywhere on the face of an image.
9. Titles of the images should not be unduly long. It should be within 35 Characters and special characters NOT allowed.

11. Members and judges are barred from participation in the competition.
12. Entries must reach by the last date.
13. Judgment and the public show will be done with digital projector having resolution of 1024 and 768 pixels.

Colour space-sRGB:
14. Decision of judges shall be final.
15. Results shall be declared on our website and the notification will be sent to individual entrant by email.
16. Details regarding Payment of Entry Fee must be mailed to Salon Chairman at aalokbaani@gmail.com

For foreign entrants:
Please forward at aalokbaani@gmail.com, the acknowledgement from ‘paypal’ after sending the fees, along with the name and country of the participant.

For Indian entrants:
Please email the payment details along with the name of the participant. If the payment details are not e-mailed, as required,within 18th August 2016, the entry will be treated as ‘NOT PAID’ and will not qualify for participation. No further correspondence will be made in this regard.
