Sunlight Colors of Bengal’s Talent Campaign:

Hindustan Unilever Limited’s (“HUL”) brand “Sunlight” invites your participation to the “Sunlight Colors of Bengal’s Talent” Campaign on www.sunlight.in for a limited duration from 1 st July, 2016 to 30 th September, 2016, which includes a Contest on Cultural art performances for Consumers, with a chance to win a limited apprenticeship with Stalwarts in the respective category (Contest).

The Campaign comprises of contest in three forms of Cultural Arts:
A) Theatre
B) Music (Rabindro Sangeet)
C) Dance: i) Bharatnatyam ii) Odissi

Before entering the Contest in the Campaign, please take some time out to read the terms and conditions applicable to the same.

Winners and Prize:
The Winners shall win an apprenticeship with following Stalwarts in their respective Cultural Art forms:
** 1. Rabindro Sangeet: Smt.Pramita Mallick
** 2. Dance (Bharatnatyam): Smt. Guru Thankamani Kutty
** 3. Dance (Odissi): Smt.Dona Ganguly
** 4. Theatre: Sri. Debshankar Halder
** The Apprenticeship shall constitute different sessions at least for a period of 6 months. The Apprenticeship shall start within 3 months from the completion of the Grand Finale of the Contest.
** One (1) Participant shall be selected in each of the four (4) Cultural Arts forms. Notwithstanding the number of winners herein stated, HUL shall have the discretion to select more number of winners for the Prize
** Apart from the above, no monetary compensation, additional prizes or exchange requests shall be provided to the winners.
** Apart from the apprenticeship opportunity with the above Stalwarts, no further obligation shall vest on HUL or its partners.
** Any additional obligations, including but not limited to expenses, losses, damages, injuries, arrangements for accommodation, travel, food, etc. shall be borne by the Participant.

How to Participate in the Contest:
** Visit www.sunlight.in, to upload your entry for the Contest within the period provided herein below.
** You shall be able to review more information about the Campaign, including its FAQs and instructions for registration.
** To participate in this Contest, the Participant needs to submit a video of their performance in the Cultural Art form category they wish to participate within 7th,August 2016.
** The video and performance shall be in accordance with the conditions mentioned herein, including but not limited to Performance Standards mentioned below.
** The required information along with the performance video will need to be uploaded on www.sunlight.in.
** Only video format/recording of the performances are acceptable for participation.
** Acceptable Video formats are *.wmv, *.avi, *.mp4, *.mov, *.mkv only.
** The video performance entry shall not exceed 20 megabytes (mb) file size.
** The video of the performance shall not be of a lesser resolution than 480 X 720 Pixels along with clarity in the sound and background score wherever applicable.
** The performance of the Participants, Shortlisted Participants and Finalists during the Contest,

Eligibility of Participant:
** Entries are open to Indian citizens who have attained the age of thirteen (13) years as on 1st July 2016.
** Entries are open to individuals residing in the state of West Bengal only.
** In the event of the Participant being a minor, consent of Legal Guardian shall be required for participation in this Contest who will undersign the entry.
** All entries of minors shall be entered by their legal guardians and provide details of their relationship.
** Proof of Identity and Relationship would be required to be submitted when requested by the Participant and Legal Guardians.
** Only one entry for each Cultural Art form per Participant shall be allowed to be submitted. Multiple entries in the same category would result in all subsequent entries’ disqualification.

Process of the Contest:

** Entries of Video Performance shall be submitted by the Participant on the Site before 11:59pm on 7th August, 2016 (Closure of Entries). No entries beyond this date shall be accepted and will be disqualified automatically.
** HUL’s partner organization, Anand Bazar Patrika’s (ABP) shall be conducting on ground activations inviting participation to the Contest. Individuals participating in the onground activations, can also enter the Contest by getting their performance video recorded by ABP and submitting their entries to ABP accordingly.
** Entries submitted online and through ABP shall collectively form the pool of Performance Entries.
** Performances Entries will be judged by HUL nominated judges related to the respective Cultural art form for selection of top participants (Round 1).
** 50 performance entries (10 Bharatnatyam, 10 Odissi, 20 Rabindra Sangeet & 10 Theatre) will be selected for Zonal Auditions (Round 2).
** The shortlist will be released in a leading newspaper in the city of Kolkata along with the website within 7 days from date of Closure of Entries.
