General Instructions :
** ALL THE PARTICIPANTS SHOULD COME IN SCHOOL UNIFORM AND ID CARD.
** Students of participating school should be accompanied by a School Representative.
** Participants should be present at least 30 minutes before the commencement of each item.
** Entries should reach us on or before 30th August, 2016.
** The decision of the Judges will be the Final.
** 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes will be awarded.
** A certificate will be awarded to all the participants.
** Avoidance in change of participants after the forms are sent will be appreciated.
** The Host School (SBIOA Matric. & Hr. Sec. School) will not compete with the participating schools.

** School Representative (Teacher) should bring Bonafide Certificate for the students from the school.
** Students of std. I to XI will be permitted to participate.
** Category A: Std. I to V
** Category B: Std. VI to VIII
** Category C: Std. IX to XI
** Usage of electronic gadgets is strictly prohibited for the competition.
** No student is allowed to participate in more than 2 events.
Category A :
Std. I – V
1. Varnajalam (Shading the picture): Std. I
** 2 participants per school.
** Participants should come with the colouring materials. (crayons/pencils)
** Duration 45 minutes.
2. Budding Architect (Clay Modelling): Std.II
** 2 participants per school.
** Theme:
** Participants will have to bring their own materials for modelling.
** Duration 1 hour
3. Lexicographer (Word Making): Std. III
** 2 participants per school.
** Participants should coin as many words as they can from the word given.
** Other instructions will be given on the spot.
** Duration 30 minutes.
4. Treasure Hunt: Std. V & IV
** 2 participants per school.
** Rules will be given on the spot
Category B
Std. VI – VIII
1. VIBGYOR (Colour Mixing Competition) :
It is a colour mixing competition in which the participants have to form certain patterns or images using the given colours by using your fingers & palms instead of paint brushes. They shall be required to make a meaningful work (painting) based on the theme that shall be given on the spot on the day of event.
** 2 participants per school.
** All the basic required materials should be brought by the participants.
** Use of brush or any other painting tool/instruments are not allowed and shall lead to disqualification. Work has to be done by hand only.
** Duration 45 minutes
2. Solitario (Solo Singing):
** 2 participants per school.
** The participants shall sing any cinematic songs of his/her choice to showcase their talents not exceeding 3 minutes.
** If anyone is interested in playing instruments of their choice or willing to make anyone play on their behalf they are free to do so. Note that extra points will not be awarded for this.
** 2 minutes will be given to arrange for musical instruments.
** Vulgarity of words will lead to disqualification.
3. Tap your feet: (FOLK DANCE)
** Only ONE entry per school is allowed.
** The dance can be a primitive or folk dance (Indian Style) but not a classical one.
** A maximum of 6 members in a group will be allowed
** Duration of the Dance should not be more than 5 minutes.
** Songs should be given in the form of Pen drive or CD.
** Judgement will be based on the basis of Rhythm, Formation, Expression, Costumes, Properties, Make-up and overall effect.
** Cine song is permitted but vulgarity of words will lead to disqualification.
5. Cook without Fire:
** 2 participants per team.
** Participants should bring their own materials (Vegetables, fruits, dish, etc.) to prepare their food.
** Duration 1 hour.
