Aurangabad Heritage Half Marathon :

MIT and Aurangabad Black Bucks have come together to organize the ‘MIT Aurangabad Heritage Half Marathon’ which takes the runners through the heritage sites of Aurangabad.

The run consists of 25k, 21K and 10K events on the scenic Daulatabad- Ellora route with two tough uphill climbs and two descents. World famous Daultabad fort provide a backdrop to the start and finish of the run. UNESCO World Heritage Site Ellora Caves mark the turnaround.

Combine this with a family trip and see ellora caves and climb Daulatabad fort. See huge Mughal cannon. Aurangabad weather is excellent in the month of November. There are hundreds of hotels to suit all pockets.

Prizes :
** 25K – Open for all participants including International athletes of age group 18 years and above.
** 21K – Open for Indian Citizens participants of age group 18 years and above.
** 10K – Open for Indian Citizens participants of age group 15 years and above.
** Tax will be deducted as per norms.

Important Information :
** In order to qualify as an official marathon finisher, a runner must finish 25 Km in four hours and 21.1 km within three and a half hours (3 hours 30 minutes) .
** Remember to bring your all-important bib to the race.
** You will not be allowed to enter the Start Area or Finish Area without your Race BIB.
** You can be stopped by a race official if your Race BIB is not displayed properly and removed from the course if you do not have a BIB.
** Please display your BIB on your front, pinned to your shirt on the chest area.
** The timing tag is attached to your bib. Do not bend your bib in any way or it will damage the timing tag.
** The Run is an officially timed race and every registered runner will be given a pre-assigned RFID timing chip along with the Race BIB.
** You have to cross all the timing mats on the course including the start and finish mats to receive your correct finish time and a finisher’s certificate.
** Kindly fill all the required details including emergency contacts and any medical conditions on the back of your BIB. This is very important for your personal safety!
** Mind your neighbour. Please don’t jostle or shove.
** Follow the course. Always!! Any deviation could result in your timing not getting recorded or worse, you getting disqualified.
** Drink fluids. We’ve provided water stations along the course. Please use them. In case you need help, there are volunteers and race marshals along the route.
** We accept that you need to discard water bottles and paper cups. In consideration for the safety of your fellow runners, use the Waste Disposal Containers provided at the Aid Stations for the used cups or other waste.
** Try not to litter the road.
** Do not waste water & other fluids.
