Meet Alia & Ranbir MAR Contest 2015 :

1. The ‘Meet Alia Ranbir’ contest (hereinafter called MAR Contest) is a value added participation contest promoted by Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “HMC”) for voluntary participation by members of the general public who wish to participate in the manner and as per the terms and conditions herein.

2. The MAR Contest is open to all fulfilling the following conditions:
A) who are residents of India
B) who are at least 18 years of age;
C) who possess a valid driving licence;
D) who test-ride or purchase a ‘Pleasure’ or ‘Maestro’ scooter at an authorised outlet of HMC (hereinafter referred to as HMC Outlet). All such males and females shall hereinafter collectively be referred to as ?Participants?

3. Participation to the MAR Contest is available to those Participants for ‘best answer writing’ in relation to the slogan “Why is Hero Pleasure or Maestro, the ride of your dreams”………………………..” and Participants who take a test- ride or purchase a “Pleasure” or “Maestro” scooter at the HMC Outlet during the Contest Period. Such eligible Participants (as stated herein above) shall be entitled to fill-in and submit the “MAR Contest” coupon (hereinafter referred to as “Contest Coupon”) of HMC. It is being clarified that every Participant shall be entitled for only ONE Contest Coupon i.e. under the MAR Contest a Participant shall be entitled for only one (1) entry through a Contest Coupon.

4. It is also clarified that the Participant(s) taking more than one test-ride shall be entitled to fill-up only ONE Contest Coupon and therefore, any Participant found to have filled-in and submitted more than one Contest Coupon shall be disqualified for participation and/or any benefit under MAR Contest.

5. The MAR Contest is open for the period from 21st Aug’15 to 22nd Sept’15 – both days inclusive (hereinafter referred to as “Contest Period”), unless otherwise changed by HMC.

6. The MAR Contest is not open to employees and associates of HMC, its outlets, advertising agency and their relatives.

7. All Participants who are intending to be eligible for the MAR Contest by taking test-ride of a ‘Pleasure’ or ‘Maestro’ scooter; shall be required to sign an Undertaking/Indemnity in favour of HMC and HMC Outlets before taking test-ride.

8. All participants may be asked to nominate one person as their companion who, in the event of the participant gets selected as a winner, will also receive the chance to meet Alia Bhatt & Ranbir Kapoor along with the winner. The companion should be fulfilling all of the following conditions –
A) Should be 18 years or older, as on date of submission of the Contest Coupon/Form,

B) Should be the participant’s immediate blood relative or an authorised guardian only

9. HMC reserves the right to select the Participants and procedure by which the winners shall be decided and result arising out of that shall be final and binding upon all. Accordingly HMC through its independent panel /internal process will shortlist/ select 100 number of winner(s) (and/or companion) who will win a chance to meet Actress Alia Bhatt and Actor Ranbir Kapoor; which is the sole and exclusive benefit for the winning Participants selected by HMC. The date, timing & location of meeting with Alia Bhatt & Ranbir Kapoor shall be as per the discretion of HMC and no request in this regard will be entertained. It is clarified that HMC will communicate with the winning Participants through their contact details (via call, SMS or email etc.) as provided in the Contest Coupon for informing them about their entitlement/ benefit under the MAR Contest.

10. It is the sole discretion of HMC to offer or not to offer the travel or lodging facilities to the winning Participants and the companion (to and fro) from their respective locations) i.e. the city where the particular Participant has purchased or test driven the ‘Pleasure’ or ‘Maestro’ scooter; to Mumbai, besides deciding the mode of travel viz. Air, Rail or Road. In case HMC decides to provide the winning Participant(s) with air-travel, it is confirmed that the same would only be on economy class to and from Mumbai from the airport closest to the city from where the particular Participant(s) is/are located AND in case of travel by train or road, the travel will be for train or taxi/bus from the nearest location / railway station or taxi/bus station.

11. It is also clarified that HMC in its sole discretion may provide the winning Participants with boarding & lodging facility on single room basis (for winning Participant and his/ her companion) for one night at Mumbai at a category of hotel decided by HMC only and the said stay may or may not be inclusive of any meals.

12. All other expenses including but not restricted to following will be borne by the winning Participants and companion:
i) Local transportation & conveyance
ii) all incidental costs
iii) additional accommodation related expenses
iv) Expenses for any other facilities offered by the hotels/availed by the winning Participants.

13. It is clarified that in order to receive the benefit under the MAR Contest, the winning Participant and companion must be medically fit to travel and also contact/communicate with the concerned department/person of HMC within 07 days of communication by HMC. The said winning Participants must provide his/her details including the details of the location where the selected winning Participant and companion resides. In no event shall any Participant be entitled to receive the reward, if they fail to contact HMC within the time period stipulated above or if the Participant and/or companion fails to visit/ meet the celebrities on the date specified by HMC or the winning Participant(s) chooses to nominate some other person instead of himself /herself and therefore in each of the said instances the said winning Participant and companion would be accordingly deemed to have foregone and/or forfeited his/her right to reward/prize in accordance with the terms of the MAR Contest.

14. Further the winning Participant shall abide/conform to the following terms during their travel and/or stay to meet/visit Actress Alia Bhatt and Actor Ranbir Kapoor:-
i. He/she and companion shall carry with them original ID proof (details whereof had been submitted to HMC under the Contest Coupon) at the time of confirmation of travel arrangements as well as the hotel check–in and in case of failure to produce the requisite ID proof or if HMC is not otherwise satisfied of the Participant’s and/or companion’s identity; then HMC shall be within its rights to disqualify or send back the Participant and/or companion in which case the Participant and/or companion will be liable/responsible to pay for the travel expenses then & there to HMC;

ii. He/she and/or companion shall not undertake any misbehavior whatsoever including but not limited to use of unethical and/or abusive language, man handling, use of physical force, etc. with Actress Alia Bhatt or Actor Ranbir Kapoor or any other selected winner and/or companion or any member of HMC or the hotel staff. In case any conduct and behavior is adjudged to be unsatisfactory, HMC will be within its right to take necessary action against the Participant and/or companion including asking him/ her and/or companion to leave the hotel/ venue immediately & ask for repayment of the travel expenses then & there to HMC;

iii. He/she shall not be involved in any form of illegal substance abuse as well as drinking of alcohol at the hotel/ venue or during travel time and that the Participant is fully aware of the fact that HMC is conducting the MAR Contest with clear prohibition on alcohol and other illegal banned substance abuse. In case the Participant is found under the influence or in violation of the said policy, then HMC can take necessary actions against him/her and ask them to leave the hotel/venue immediately as well as seek payment of the travel expenses then & there;

iv. He/she and/or companion shall have no specific expectation whatsoever of the time, manner or duration of the interaction with Actress Alia Bhatt and Actor Ranbir Kapoor as part of the MAR Contest and that their selection shall not entitle them to any other special benefit whatsoever.
