Magnificent Assam Souvenir Making Competition 2015 :

The contest will be conducted in accordance to Indian Standard Time.

Souvenior Indicatives :

Pen, mug, replica, keychain, paper weight, notepads, t-shirt, cap, bag, plates, glasses, etc…

Entry Materials :

All entries must include the following:
** “Entry Form” properly completed.
** There is no entry fee or registration fee for entries being submitted in this competition.
** One prototype of the work in given medium
** A brief synopsis of the design and the credit list
** Make note that any of the Entry materials will not be returned by the organizer.

Regulations :

*Magnificent Assam, Souvenir Making Competition 2015 is open to those aged 16 and over only, excluding employees or agencies of Assam Tourism & Assam Tourism Development Corporation, ATDC (“The Organiser”), their group companies or their family members or anyone else connected.

*The owner/maker can be from anywhere in the world, but the work must be complied by the guidelines of Assam tourism depicting its tourism potential and aesthetic beauty.

*Awards will be given to only the prototype in each category

*The Organizer has the absolute discretion to accept or reject submission. The Organizer shall in particular refuse to accept any work for the following reasons :
** Use of defamatory or malicious content.
** Any indecent or inappropriate content.
** Materials that belong to others or are found in any contravention of the rules

*Selected entries will enter an agreement with Assam Tourism and/or ATDC for further sharing of royalty, copyright, etc…

*By entering, the entrant agrees that:
** The work submitted is original
** The work is being submitted as per the specifications mentioned for the competition
** They are the sole owner/copyright holder of the design
** The Organizer will use the design(s)to further promote the competition/future competitions/tourism promotions
** Entries not fulfilling the stated criteria will be deemed ineligible and disqualified.
** Where this is discovered after the prize has been awarded, the winner will be disqualified and the prize, or the equivalent value, will have to be returned by the entrant
** Each entrant’s approved design will be shown on the promoter’s website and social media platforms together with the film description and credit tags. The Promoter reserves the right to amend this description for reasons of presentation

** The jury panel will select the winners, whose work(s) are deemed to best capture a essence of the theme, portraying the land, its people, its wildlife and beauty

** Your personal details will at all times be kept confidential and only used for the operation

** The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt

** Assam Tourism and ATDC is not responsible for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by entrants as a result of entering the Competition or accepting any prize. We further disclaim liability for any injury or damage to you or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Competition

** Winning/selected entries will enter an agreement with ATDC to be informed on contact By entering the Competition you are deemed to have accepted these terms and

** The Organizer’s decision in all matters is final and binding

** The Organizer shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control or any other circumstances amounting to Force Majeure

** This Competition will be governed by the Indian Law subject to Guwahati jurisdiction

Terms And Conditions :

1. The Entrant hereby fully and unreservedly grants the organizer an exclusive, full and unfettered right and consent to perform and conduct any and all of the following (in full accordance with the unfettered discretion of the Organizer) in relation to the Entrant’s Work(s) worldwide free of any fee, in perpetuity, and without need for Assam Tourism to credit and name the Entrant or the author(s) of the Entrant’s Work(s), and without need for the Organizer to otherwise first seek approval/permission from the Entrant or any third party:

** Broadcas t the Entrant’s Work(s) including broadcast in any media, television programme, video, film, webcast, cable network, mass viewing, private viewing, theatre, cinema, on any computer network (including the Internet) and the like (whether such broadcast is in digital form, analogue, film orotherwise);

** Publish, print and distribute the Entrant’s Work(s) in any media, including any magazine, advertisement, book, catalogue, periodical, publication, leaflet, document and the like;

** Copy, manufacture and distribute of the Entrant’s Work(s) in any form

** Promote the Entrant’s Work(s) in any manner deemed fit and suitable by the organizer and in full accordance with the full and unfettered discretion of Assam Tourism;

** Showcase the Entrant’s Work(s) in any trade show, event and the like;

** Destroy, discard or otherwise dispose of the Entrant’s Work(s) and copies thereof in the possession of Assam Tourism and ATDC; and otherwise use the Entrant’s Work(s).

2. The Entrant hereby fully and unreservedly grants to Assam Tourism the power and authority to grant sub-licenses to any manufacturer for the mass production of the product

3. By entering the competition the entrant takes note and agrees to
** The souvenir prototype becomes the property of Assam Tourism and ATDC which it may further decide to mass produce for promotional and commercial use
** Assam Tourism and ATDC reserve the right to decide who manufactures the product for them
** Assam Tourism and ATDC has the right to manufacture and use the design without having to credit the entrant
** The decision of the jury will be final, supreme and binding

Obligations Of Assam Tourism And ATDC :

1. Assam Tourism and ATDC may examine the Entrant’s Entry Form in order to verify that all information contained within such application conforms with all required formats and that all information necessary for full and proper adjudication has been provided for and properly and clearly indicated within the form

2. Nothing in this Agreement shall legally oblige or require Assam Tourism and ATDC to verify the accuracy or truth of the information contained in the Entrant’s Entry Form

3. All Parties acknowledge that Assam Tourism and ATDC shall not require any sort of approval of the
Entrant for using the prototype or the design in its own discretion

4. In its sole, full and unfettered discretion, Assam Tourism and ATDC may accept the Entrant’s submission where, before the Competition Closing Date:
** The entry form was submitted to Assam Tourism promptly and correctly;
** All and full information as required by the application is fully, accurately and truthfully provided within the entry form;
** All necessary and required enclosures are provided along with the entry form at the time of submission;

5. All Parties fully and unreservedly acknowledge that acceptance of the Entrant’s entry form by Assam Tourism and ATDC:
** Does not preclude the Entrant from being subsequently disqualified from the Competition;
** Does not, per se, ensure or guarantee the participation or qualification of the Entrant’s Work(s) for the Competition;
** Cannot be construed as Assam Tourism and ATDC irrevocable acceptance, warranty or guarantee of the accuracy or truth of the information contained in the Entry form; and
** Does not serve as any form of acknowledgement, warranty or guarantee on the part of Assam Tourism as to the Entrant’s Intellectual Property Rights over the Entrant’s Work(s).
