If you have smartphone and if you like movies, you can create your own nano film with your smartphone.

Theme – Why should we eat pulses?
Who can participate:
** School Students from Class/standard 8th to 10th (from Mumbai City only).
** Participating student should be studying in the School at the time of submission of the film.
How to participate:
** Use your smartphone to shoot the film.
** Duration of the film should be in the range of 2 to 3 minutes. If any film exceeds 3 minutes then it will be rejected from the competition.
** Language of the film– English
** To enter in the competition filled up registration form should also be sent us by email. (To download the form, please click here).
** The film should be sent us by online media only such as wetransfer.com or google drive to infoc16.nscm[at]gmail.com on or before 15th November, 2016.
** It is mandatory to get confirmation email from our end about the receipt of the film as entry to avoid any delay.
Prices:
** Top three films will be selected for 1st, 2nd& 3rdprices.
** The prices will be given inform of mementos& certificates.
** The prize distribution will be held on November 30, 2016 during the valedictory function of the IYP 16 celebration.
Rules & Regulations:
** INFOC16 is an effort to encourage students towards effective mode of communication of science using short films.
** Top there Winning films will be showcased during valedictory programmes of Celebration of International Year of Pulses 2016, which will be held at Nehru Science Centre, Mumbai on 30th November, 2016.
** Winners will be announced on our website and Facebook page.
** Theme should be crystal clear in the film, and it must address pulses only.
** All footage must be shot within the time period of the competition. No stock footage or footage shot or created at another time may be used.
** Participating films must be original and unpublished, and their copyrights must be held by the author (in this case author is the participating student).
** For any copyright violation or infringement related to submitted films for the competition, Nehru Science Centre, Mumbai will not be responsible.
If any dispute about copyright infringement is noticed then the entry/submission will be rejected from the competition immediately, and any legal complication arising out of it shall be sole responsibility of the participating candidate (class/standard 8 to 10 students).
** All winning film(s) will be property of Nehru Science Centre, Mumbai & due credit/ acknowledgement will be given to the winners.
** Due to paucity of funds, Nehru Science Centre, Mumbai does not abide itself for providing any assistantship towards travel, stay, film making and any other incidental charges.
** A qualified submission is one which meets all the Rules & Regulations.
** By participating, Entrants agree to these Rules & Regulations which are final and binding in all respects.
