What is a Family Fun Run? Can individuals participate for the Family Fun Run?
The Family Fun run is a the 8 km event at the Spice Coast Marathon. It is meant to introduce runners to the beauty of running. Anyone can register for the Family Fun Run, individuals, friends, families etc.

Can I pick-up my race kit on the same day as the race?
Sorry, all race kits must be picked up on the day prior to the race at the race expo. Race kits will NOT be provided to runners on the day of the race.

Once applied can I cancel my entry and get refund?
Sorry, refund requests will NOT be entertained once registration has been completed.

Can I change my race category once I have applied/my entry is confirmed?
Sorry, no category change requests will be entertained. Re-registration will be required to change a race category.

Can I transfer my registration to another person?
No transfer of registrations will be permitted. Individuals must register for themselves with the exception of the group registrations.

I am a student and do not possess any of the above ID proofs. What do I submit along with my application?
Please submit a scanned copy of you school/college ID card for registration.

Is attaching a Govt. issued photo ID proof with my application (including online) compulsory?
Yes, valid ID proof is compulsory for registration to the event.

Is attaching passport sized photograph with the application form/online application form compulsory?
Yes, a photo ID is compulsory for registration to the event.

How will my entry acceptance be intimated to me?
On successful completion of registration, you will receive an email from eventjini confirming your registration.

What is the Registration Fee for each of the races?
Registration for the Full Marathon costs Rs. 1100/- per runner
Registration for the Half Marathon costs Rs. 900/- per runner
Registration for the Family Fun run costs Rs. 500/- per runner

Is there any upper age limit for each race?
We firmly believe that anyone can run at any age. There is no upper limit to the age category for the Family fun Run and nor for the endurance events, although we will require proof of prior completion of an event or assurance that you have put in the effort to train for the event for the full and half marathon.

What is the minimum age eligibility for each race category?
The minimum age for the Full marathon is 18 years as on 13th of November 2016
The minimum age for the Half marathon is 13 years as on 13th of November 2016
The minimum age for the Family Fun Run is 3.5 years …uh… age? There’s no age to start running!

If you want an exemption for any of these age categories, please feel free to contact us, we’re sure to be able to make an exception for an enthusiastic fellow runner who has trained for an event!

Can I register on the day of the event?
No registrations will be provided to any runner on the day of the race. This will be strictly enforced. Please do comply with the same.

I am having trouble using the online entry form. What should I do?
