Voice of Pushkar :

Voice of Pushkar is a new platform to unearth the young singing talents based in and around the sacred town of Pushkar

Here is how it works:
** Pre-register with us here.
** Send us a recording of a song that has been sung by you in MPEG – 4, WMV or .WV formats over an email at : voiceofpushkar[at]gmail.com
** The recording must be of a minimum length of 60 seconds and a maximum length of 180 seconds.
** The recordings will be adjudicated by an esteemed panel of musicians who will then choose 10 entries from all the entries submitted
** The selected contestants will be required to appear for a rehearsal with a band between the 5th & 6th of November 2016
** The selected contestants will be called upon to perform live at the Pushkar Mela 2016.
** The choice of song will be provided by the organizers.
** The organizers will provide musical instruments back-up at the live event area.
** The live performances will be judged by an esteemed panel of musicians who will declare the “Voice of Pushkar 2016” winner at the performance area.
** The last date for submitting entries is 02nd of November 2016.

Rules & Regulations:
** Contest is open only to bona-fide residents of Pushkar Town and surrounding areas not beyond 10 Kms of central Pushkar
** Contest is open only to the age group between 18 & 26 years of age
** Participants will have to submit proof of residence through Aadhar Card, Electricity Bill or Voters ID.
** Pre-registration is a pre-requisite to participate
** Registrations close on 02nd of November 2016
** Any invalid entries or wrong information submitted will result in immediate disqualification of the participant.
** The jury has the complete rights over declaring the winners and no queries will be entertained on the same

Other Terms :
** The organizers reserve the rights to use all content generated through the contest and during the live event for any promotional or other requirement at any later date/ time.
** All boarding/ lodging, reaching the venue and any other expenses are the sole responsibility of the participant.
