Every Indian Vote Counts Competition:
The Election Commission of India (ECI) in collaboration with Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) brings forth a unique competition based upon the theme of “Every Indian Vote Counts”, to crowdsource creative ideas from overseas Indians holding Indian passports.

General Rules for Submission:
** Theme for all the categories is Every Indian Vote Counts
** The contestant should be an Overseas Indian holding Indian Passport.
** A contestant can upload submissions in all categories, but only once.
** The contestant will be considered to have accepted the use of the creative material for promotional purposes through media platforms by the Election Commission of India.
** Contestant’s have read above ruls and regulations carefully and agreed to all above conditions.
Rules For Each Category:
Slogan one -line submission:
Theme- Every Indian Vote Counts
** Your slogan can contain a maximum number of 92 characters.
** Contestant’s have read above rules and regulations carefully and agreed to all above conditions.
** You can submit in any Indian language
Song:
Theme – Every Indian Vote Counts
** Your song should have a minimum running time of 90 seconds (1.5 minutes) and maximum of 240 seconds (4 minutes).
** You must upload the audio file only in MP3, audio format.
** You can submit in any Indian language
Poster:
Theme- Every Indian Vote Counts
** Your poster should be saved and submitted in PDF and JPEG format regardless of what software (e.g. PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop LaTeX etc.) you used to create it. This is so that all panel members can view the file correctly, and so the any printing is true to design.
** Please bear in mind, the posters will be judged by viewing on a computer screen so any tiny detail that will not be visible in a smaller format will be lost.
** Your poster should be sent in high quality photograph if it is handmade and clicked.
** The file size should be no larger than 10MB.
Photograph:
Theme- Every Indian Vote Counts
** File Format should be in JPEG or PNG.
** File size: up to 20 MB of image data per work.
** File format: JPEG, .JPEG, .PNG /150 dpi is recommended.
** Entries may originate in any format — including, but not limited to digital files, digital prints, colour transparencies, colour prints, or black and white prints — so long as they are submitted electronically in a JPEG, JPG or PNG format.
** Please submit photographs that are un-manipulated and real, and that capture special moments. Digitally altered photographs using the tools of Photoshop or setup photography or any other editing tools are not eligible.
Original Essay :(less than 750 words)
Theme- Every Indian Vote Counts
** The author of the submitted essay should be an Overseas Indian holding Indian Passport.
** The text should be in PDF (non- encrypted) format.
Short film and Audio Visual:
Theme- Every Indian Vote Counts
** The duration of the film/audio visual should have a minimum airtime of 30 seconds (0.5 minutes) and a maximum of 120 seconds (2 minutes).
** The film can be in Hindi or English.
** The audio visual is not restricted to only film format so animated submissions or other educative videos are also encouraged.
** Your film/short audio visual must be submitted on YouTube. Following which you must copy the link from YouTube and upload it in your user account in the website (www.everyindianvotecounts.in)
** The title of your film must be written in this format in the title section of YouTube. Every Indian Vote Counts- (Name suggested by the creator)
** The detailed procedure of uploading the video is explained below.
** Only one of the filmmakers/audio visual creators can avail the benefits of jury award. i.e. a return trip to India
Prizes:
1 Round trip to India on National Voters’ Day and be honored by the Election Commission of India
Claim of Prizes:
All potential winners must provide personal details such as passport number, photocopy of passport etc., along with a duly signed affidavit (as mentioned earlier) within 7 days of notification.
