Inter Institute Basketball Championship 2015-2016:
Rules For The Competition:
1. The teams are expected to bring their uniforms with proper colors numbered as per the rules. SIU Logo on the front & Name of Institute on the back side of T-Shirt.
2. The team coach/ managers should bring 01 copy of the eligibility Proforma duly signed / seal by competent authority at the time of tournament and can mail the same on or before 19th Sep 2015 to sports@sitpune.edu.in or asst.adminsports@siu.edu.in
3. The players should bring individual photo Identity Cards attested by the competent authority of their respective Institutes.
4. The tournaments committee reserves the rights to change the Venue, time & date of the matches if necessary.
5. Players born after 1st July 1987 are eligible to participate in the Inter Institute Championship
6. SIU will organize these tournaments as per the guidelines of AIU and in the best interest of the players.
7. The number of players shall not be more than 12.
8. The team can play maximum 02 Matches in a day. There shall be at least 03 hrs rest Period between two matches.
9. The Tournament shall be played on knockout basis.
10. The SIU Basketball team (Men & women) will be selected on the basis of Performance of Players in the Inter –Institute.
11. The details of General rules/Schedule and guidelines for lodging and accommodation for outstation teams will be provided by the organizers.
