Technowave Competition:
We are very much privileged to invite you for “Technowave- State Level Competition”. It contains four events viz. Power Point Presentation, Web development, Debugger and Blind type master. It is organized by Department of Information Technology of our college to be held on 17th December 2016 from 9.00 am onwards.

Expected candidates for competition are the students of B.Sc. IT/Comp. Sci. /BCA. Kindly send the entries by giving the details of competition name, participants name and college name and send it on email id: gjcbscit@gmail.com on or before 8th December 2016.
General Instructions:
1. Last date of giving entries (competition name, participant name and college name) is 8th December 2016.
2. Confirmation of entries to be send on gjcbscit@gmail.com or contact Mrs. Medha Sahasrabuddhe (9403618576) Mrs. Aditi Joshi (9421892284).
3. Registration will be done on the spot including registration fee.
4. Entry fee for each competition is Rs. 100/-.
5. Venue for PPT competition will be “Dr. J.S.Kelkar Seminar Hall” and other competitions will be conducted in “IT Lab”.
6. Candidates participating in PPT presentation or Web Development cannot participate in other competitions.
7. One candidate can opt for participation in both Debugger and Blind Type Master competitions with separate entry fees.
8. All participants will get participation certificate.
9. Students are supposed to carry college Identity card for registration.
10. Referees decision will be final.
11. No accommodation and travelling allowance provided.
12. Rules for PPT Presentation:
a. Subject/Topic for PPT should be related to ‘Computers and Technology’.
b. Time for presentation will be maximum 7 minutes.
c. Candidates participating in PPT are supposed to report to Mr. Harshad Girkar (Lab Assistant-IT Dept.) & submit their PPT in soft copy on the day of competition.
13. Rules for Web Development:
a. Subject and content will be provided on the spot.
b. Time allotted will be 2 hrs.
c. You can use any scripting language for web development.
14. Rules for Debugger:
a. Erroneous C++ code will be provided in text file. Candidate have to detect and correct it without using compiler.
b. Time allotted will be 15 minutes.
15. Rules For Blind Type Master:
a. You have to type the given text. It is about speed and accuracy of typing.
b. Screens will be switched off.
c. Time allotted will be 10 minutes.
