Star Jalsha Parivaar Awards:

These terms and conditions govern the SMS polling activity titled “Star Jalsha Parivaar Awards 2017 Poll organized, conducted and brought to you by STAR India Private Limited on its Bengali television channel “STAR JALSHA” based on the program Star Jalsha Parivaar Awards, 2017 to be telecast on the Channel on April 02, 2017 between 4:00pm IST and 10:00pm IST.

The poll for voting (‘Poll’) shall once again commence from January 24, 2017 at 00:00:00 hours IST and shall conclude on February 08, 2017 at 23:59:59 hours IST. The Poll will be held on the Channel during the Poll Period and is open for participation by viewers/users of the Channel in India only.

Principal Rules:
1. The Poll will be announced and promoted through Astons on the Channel or any other means at the sole discretion of STAR India, and such promotion will continue till February 08, 2017 and/or till any other time, based on the sole discretion of STAR India.

2. During the Poll Period the Viewers will be asked to cast their vote to choose their favorite nominee(s) from among the various categories provided at the complete discretion of STAR India (each a ‘Category’) as stated below. The Viewer(s) interested in participating and qualifying for the Poll (‘Voter(s)’) will have to type the codes, as mentioned herein below (‘Voting Codes’) and send the vote to 57827 (‘Vote’).

3. STAR India will sufficiently promote the Poll on the Channel, based on its sole discretion, reasonably in advance (in the manner stated above) to ensure that the Viewers are aware about the programs during which the Categories will be aired on the Channel.

4. The Nominations will be shown through Promos and Aston content during the Polling Period.
5. Viewers will be asked to cast their Vote to choose their favorite nominee(s) from the various Categories during the Poll Period.

6. The SMS containing the above mentioned keyword(s) with the Voting Code(s) and in such manner as stated hereinabove must be sent by the Voter(s) to 57827 during the Poll Period mentioned only. SMS sent before or after the Poll Period stated in these rules and regulations shall not be considered and shall be null and void. (Each an ‘Entry’).

7. The winners from amongst the nominees in the Category who have garnered the most number of votes in their Category from the Polls will be declared on the Channel, Star Jalsha during the telecast of Star Jalsha Parivaar Awards, 2017 as deemed fit by STAR India.

8. Each SMS sent by the Voter for voting shall be chargeable, at the current applicable rates given below. STAR India shall not be liable for any change in the applicable SMS charges and the Viewers are advised to check and confirm the same with their respective telecom operators

9. Any costs or expenses incurred to participate in the Poll shall be solely borne by the Viewers and STAR India shall not be liable for any such costs or expenses.
