National Painting Competition 2015 :

Sub : Publication of rules & regulations of Painting Competition in Department website.

Competition is to be organized on 04-10-2015 at State & district level.

I am enclosing the soft copy as well as hard copy of the detailed rules and regulations of the National Painting Competition-2015 to be organized October at state and district levels, for uploading in the website of W.& C.D. Dept. for wide publicity after which advertisement will be published in the local Newspapers.

I, therefore, request you to please permit hosting of the rules and regulations of the National Painting Competition-2015 it the Website of W&CD Dept. at the earliest.

Rules & Regulations of National Painting Competition 2015 :

Detailed rules are scanned and posted on the website of W&CD Department wcdodisha.gov.in

1. There are five groups as specified below:
Green group age 5-8 years
White group age 9-12 years
Blue group age 13-16 years

Special Group for differently abled Children
Yellow group age 5-10 years
Red group age 11-18 years

There should be following four sub-groups in each Yellow & Red group.
a) Cerebral Palsy/Multiple disable.
b) Mentally challenged.
c) Visually impaired.
d) Speech/hearing impaired.

Specific disability and date of birth of the winner should be indicated on the reverse of the painting for the above yellow and red group.

2 The painting competition shall be : “ON THE SPOT PAINTING COMPETITION”.
3. The medium of painting shall be pastel, crayon, water colour or oil colour.

4. The size of the painting must be 40 cm X 50 cm (16” X20″) for all the groups.
5. Time allowed to complete the painting is two (2) hours only.

6. Compotators must bring all necessary drawing materials. The drawing paper will be supplied by the organizer.

7. Participants who have secured first or second position in a particular group earlier year will not be considered in subsequent years in the same group.

8. Entry fee of Rs.20/- (Rupees Twenty) only for General category but there will be no entry fee for differently able children (Yellow & Red group).

9. Winners of the Painting competition will be eligible to get scholarship and cash awards etc. as per Rules of ICCW, New Delhi. Besides prizes & certificates are also given to the winners by the Odisha State Council for Child Welfare.
