#TrueStoriesThatInspireYou Contest :

The following are the terms and conditions governing the “#TrueStoriesThatInspireYou” contest (“Contest”) hosted by Star India Private Limited (“Star India”) for the promotion of the “True Stories Film Festival” on Star Movies Select HD (“Channel”).

The contest invites interested persons to participate in the Contest by tweeting using the hashtag “#TrueStoriesThatInspireYou” (“Hashtag”) and following all the mandates required herein below (“Participant(s))”.

The Contest shall commence on April 03rd, 2017 at 4:00 pm Indian Standard Time (“IST”) and will end on April 03rd, 2017 at 9:00 pm IST (“Contest Period”).

Principal Rules:
1. To participate in the Contest the Participant(s) shall follow the procedure as detailed below:
a) Participant(s) must be citizens of India and must be residing within India during the Contest Period. All Participants must be 18 (eighteen) years of age or above at the start date of the Contest Period.

Participant(s) should not have any criminal conviction or an arrangement or a contract that prevents the Participant(s) from participating in the Contest.

b) Employees of and/or consultants of and/or persons hired on contract by Star India and the members of their immediate family members are ineligible to participate in the Contest.

c) All Participant(s) must have a valid Twitter account to be eligible to participate in the Contest. For the sake of clarity, it is hereby agreed to and confirmed by the Participant(s) that the same does not include a Twitter account opened and operated by a family member and/or friend of the Participant(s).

d) The Process of the Contest
i. The Participants would be required to tweet a creative submission of real life stories that have inspired them in life, which submission can be in the form of a tweet, image, video, GIF or a slideshow; using the Hashtag and tagging the Twitter Handle. (“Entry/Entries”).

ii. Entries submitted without the Hashtag and tagging the Twitter Handle shall be considered null and void.

e) For the avoidance of doubt and for the purpose of calculation of the time period taken by the Participant(s) to publish an Entry, Star India shall rely on the time stamp of such Entry. Star India’s decision in this regard shall be final and binding.

f) It is the sole responsibility of the Participant(s) to ensure that the Entry submitted does not infringe the rights of any third party including rights in any intellectual property and shall be original in form. Duplicate Entries and/or two or more identical Entries shall be disqualified from the Contest.

g) The Participant(s) shall ensure that the Entry is decent and is not immoral, defamatory, abusive, offensive, insensitive, libelous or blasphemous to any person, religious sect or section of the society, defamatory of any person deceased or alive, etc.

h) Each Participant shall follow the Twitter Handle. Failure to comply with the same shall render the Participant(s) Entry invalid.

i) Each Entry shall be judged inter alia, on the basis of its relevancy to the Contest, its originality, uniqueness, innovativeness, quality of writing and creativity. The decision of Star India is final and binding in this regard.
