LQ Grandmaster Contest
Description :
“Genius is 1 percent inspiration and 99 percent perspiration.”
There is a genius within you waiting to be challenged, inspired and nurtured. Give him the opportunity to emerge and announce itself as the entire nation watches awe-struck, gasping for breadth.
In association with Dhanak 2015, we present to you, LQ Grandmaster, the national level progressive talent search exam to be conducted in the lush green campus of India’s one and only Space technology institute, the Indian Institute of Space Science & Technology.
Regulations :
** The contest is for students of classes 8th to 10th who aspire amongst the best in the country.
** The examination is based on a progressive difficulty pattern as observed in the most advanced exams like GMAT/GRE. Each answer provided by the student will decide the difficulty of the next question.
** The contest will measure the proficiency of the students in Mathematics and Science.
** Duration: 30 minutes for each subject. The questions will be MCQ based covering the syllabus of a year lower than that of the participant.
** The complete test will be computer based. Sheets will be provided for rough calculations.
** A standard score out of 1000 will be provided to the student, which can be used for determining the proficiency of the student, and can be used as an indicator of the academic excellence, on a national level.

** The schools can assess their strengths and limitations and thereby, introduce changes in their present teaching methodology.

** The LQ score will be considered the ultimate reflection of student”s caliber and thus, is a necessity for a good resume.
Prizes :
1st Prize – Rs.2500
2nd Prize – Rs.1500
3rd Prize – Rs.1000
All the participants will get participation certificates. The winners will be awarded merit certificates and trophies. The prizes are for each subject and for each class.
The best performing school will be evaluated based on the average scores of the three top scorers of each subject from each class and will be awarded a trophy. The best performing school will get statewide recognition since the score provided for the school will be standardized.
LQ Grandmaster will effectively challenge the students to an extent that no other test shall, and bring out the true potential of their minds.
