Eligibility Criteria:
** Players of any School/College/Academy/Club from India are eligible for participation in the Singles Event of the JUNIOR BADMINTON CHAMPIONSHIP 3, provided he/she fulfils the mentioned age eligibility criteria (Cut-Off Dates), as per mentioned norms.
** Any players/participants staying overseas can also play this tournament provided they have Indian nationality.

Rules:
** Only entries submitted with the mentioned entry fee will be accepted. No entry will be accepted via phone calls/SMS.
** Registration will be confirmed once online entry form is filled up thoroughly and deposited along with the entry fees.
** The entry fee for each category (SINGLES-BOYS/GIRLS) is INR 500/-.
** No Name will be displayed in the final M & Q or Draw/Fixture without the registration fees.
** Organizing committee/organiser/institution/sponsor shall not be held responsible by any means, for any kind of minor or major injury sustained, or event/incident by the player(s) during the game on or off the court.
** During the course of the event, the organizer/sponsors and its associates would not be responsible for any type of accident or loss of life.
** However, first aid facility will be available at the venue.
** All eight leg of tournaments in different eight cities will be organized in the month of April-June 2017.
** Proposed dates of the tournaments city wise would be as follows (Delhi – 3 to 7 April, Chandigarh – 10 to 13 April, Indore – 17 to 20 April, Mumbai – 24 to 28 April, Bangalore – 3 to 6 May, Hyderabad – 10 to 13 May, Guwahati – 22 to 25 May, Lucknow – 30 May to 1 June.
** Registration can be stopped at any time without prior notice. Limited entries are being taken and registration is being done on first come first serve basis.
** Entries can be sent at (www.jbc3.in). All the players/participants must send their entries along with entry fees on or before the cut off dates as mentioned on the site (www.jbc3.in).
** No off line entries would be entertained by any individual, group, school, college, academy etc.
** Sara foundation will not be responsible for any such off line entries and the same would not be considered as valid entry/entries.
** Only sara foundation and its authorized associates can take off line entries (if situation demands).
** The decision of the tournament committee will be final and binding on all matters related to the tournament.
** Any protest regarding decision of the umpire will not be entertained during the match. Such protest/request can be referred to Chief Referee.
** Request for line judges from round one cannot be entertained.
** Line judges can be provided (On request) from Quarter Final onwards.
** The organising committee reserves the right to cancel any entry without assigning any reason thereof.
** Registration including online registration fees, once done, will not be refunded in case event takes place.
** The organising committee reserves the right to cancel/postpone the event if sufficient entries are not received or sufficient time is not available to complete the event or any situation which is beyond the control of the organiser.
** The organiser of the event reserves the right, if circumstances so demand, to make modification(s) in the date and venue of the event to extend, postpone or cancel it entirely.
** However, if the tournament is completely cancelled due to reasons beyond the control of the organiser, the registration fees will be refunded after deducting the expenses (online transaction charges) already incurred, if any.
** All participants and parents are expected to maintain ideal atmosphere for carrying out the tournament. They are also expected to maintain cleanliness at the venue.

Prizes:
** Scholarship Money (INR 2 lakhs) & other attractive awards/prizes will be given to Winners, Runners Up & Semi Finalists in all mentioned categories (Single Events- Boys/Girls)
** Consolation prizes to be given to Quarter Finalists. Participation certificates will be given to all participants.
** The proposed (JBC 3) to be organised in the 4 (four) main zones (East, West, North & South) covering 8 cities of the country.
** All Semi Finalists (TOP 4) from 8 cities under four (4) zones of different age categories will qualify for the National Grand Finale to take place in New Delhi/NCR.
** Attractive awards and prizes to be given to all Winners, Runners Up and Semi Finalists of this Grand Finale.
** Total INR 12.5 lakhs Scholarship Money will be given in the National Grand Finale of JBC 3, 2017.
** All participants of GRAND FINALE to be given badminton kit/sports goodies.

  • As above mentioned, all semifinalist from 8 cities will qualify for grand finale held in Delhi. But there are players not reached in semifinal but are playing in grand finale. May I know about criteria of it?
