NextWizard National Talent Hunt Quiz 2015:

NextWizard is a national talent hunt quiz for classes V–X. This inter-school quiz competition, scheduled to be conducted across 40 locations in India, will give students the platform to show their knowledge. The competition will be held at two levels – city and national. At the city level, the competition will be held at specific venues in these cities. One student from each grade in each city will be selected for the national level competition, to be held in New Delhi. At the final level, the winners will be selected from each grade.

Contest Period:
The Quiz Contest ‘NextWizard’ (hereinafter referred to as the “Contest”) is being run by Next Education India Pvt Ltd (hereinafter ‘NEIPL’) and is open from 15/07/2015 to 20/11/2015 (both days inclusive). All submissions will have to be completed in the manner stated in these Terms and Conditions within the time period stated above.

Quiz Schedule:
The Quiz shall be conducted in two levels:
For City Level: Question Paper shall be OMR-based with following structure:

The city level competition shall be conducted at a common venue in the city and the national level competition shall be conducted in Delhi. For the national level competition, Next Education will take care of the travel and accommodation needs of the qualified students and one of their parents.

Who can participate & How to participate?:
Every Participant must be a resident of India and must be between 07-15 years of age as on 30/09/2015 and enrolled in a participating school in India and Students who are from non-participating school can also register (Please specify if it is direct or through participating school) but will have to travel to a participating school nearby. It is hereby clarified that this Contest is only open to Participants who have obtained the permission of their parents and/or legal guardians and whose parents and/or legal guardians consent to be bound by these rules in their own right and on behalf of the Participant.

How the winners shall be selected?:
The winner will be decided on the basis of the highest total score at the end of the entire competition. In case of a tie, the participant who takes the least time to complete all quizzes would be declared the winner. For grades IX & X the subjective paper shall be checked for only top 10 % as per the marks obtained. In case of any conflict, the decision of the organizers would be final.

Winners will be notified on or before 20th Dec, 2015 by way of phone/ email and the names of the winners along with the passport size photographs submitted by them will be published on www.nextwizard.in after the verification process.

Prizes & Claim Process:
Prizes shall be given as mentioned in Prize list

The winner will have to claim prize (for both city & national level) & submit documents (required documents mentioned below) within 15days when NEIPL uploads the results on website www.nextwizard.in It is the responsibility of participants to check the result link provided on daily basis post completion of contest to know the winners. And further it is the responsibility of winners to claim their prize

The details required for claiming the prize shall be mentioned along with winner list.

The prize will be forfeited and winner agrees to surrender the prize if:
** The winner does not claim the prize & or fail to submit all necessary documents within 15days;
or
** The winner does not submit TDS (if applicable) amount within 10 days of receipt of information from NEIPL.

Required Documents:
** Address proof (Voter ID / Driving License / Passport/electricity bill not older than 3 months (Telephone bill not older than 3 months etc)
** Photo Id proof (School ID card)
** Affidavit declaration for acceptance of prize (format will be communicated/shared with winner).
** Submission of acknowledgement letter (as per the format that shall be provided by NEIPL) on receipt of the Prize(s)
** PAN card copy self-attached

The winning student of the Grand Finale Round will be awarded with the title of NextWizard-2015′ and a prize money. The prize money will be paid by electronic fund transfer to the bank accounts of the Winning student’s Parent/Guardian and would be subject to applicable tax deduction. The Winning Students Parents/Guardian shall bear tax (in whatsoever form) applicable on the prize money.

The Prizes given under this Contest cannot be transferred, substituted, exchanged or encashed by the winner.

All Taxes and Government levies will be applicable as on date.

General Terms & Conditions:
** The Contest will be conducted in English.
** If at any time, any information provided by any Participant is found to be incorrect or incomplete in any manner, then NEIPL reserves the right to disqualify such Participant from the Show including the rights to take appropriate legal action.
** Participants agree to participate in the Contest at their own will and the NEIPL are not in any way obligated or liable for any loss or costs that the Participants may suffer or incur and nothing is payable to the Participants for participating in the Contest.
** The participation in the Contest implies unconditional acceptance of all these Terms and Conditions and rules of the Contest by the Participant.
** NEIPL reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions of the Contest, including extending, withdrawing or discontinuing the same without notice, without assigning any reason at its sole and absolute discretion and without any liability.
** It is the Participant’s sole responsibility to inform NEIPL on any change in the Participant’s address of correspondence, email id or phone number for availing the prizes and NEIPL shall not be liable in any manner for non-receipt of any communication or prize due to such change in details.
