50 Hour Filmmaking Challenge :

IFP’s flagship competition, battle it out with more than 30,000 filmmakers from 300+ cities to show your filmmaking skills in a duration of just 50 hours – Sep 15 to Sep 17.

Team Size – 1 to 20 people. Teams can choose any one category to participate – Professional, Amateur or Mobile. The theme will be revealed at the beginning of 50 hours.

Professional Category :
Team Leaders who have produced 3 or more than 3 films in the past are eligible to register in the Professional Category. Teams who opt for Professional Category shall have to submit the link of their channel or playlist with their respective work in the registration form itself. Previous work can include short films, advertisements, portfolio films, feature lengths, brand films and documentaries.

Work such as editing assignments, working as assistants in either departments, working in production team or such, shall not be eligible for this category. A team gets 50 hours to make the film on given theme, and have up to 20 people including the team leader.

** Filmmaking Hours – Sep 15, 8pm to Sep 17, 10pm.
** Last date to Register – 14th September, 2017.
** Registration fees – Rs. 2500

Amateur Category :
Team Leaders who have produced none, one or two films in the past are eligible for the Amateur Category. Teams who opt for Amateur Category need not submit the link of their past work. A team gets 50 hours to make the film on given theme, and have up to 20 people including the team leader.

** Filmmaking Hours – Sep 15, 8pm to Sep 17, 10pm.
** Last date to Register – 14th September, 2017.
** Registration fees – Rs. 2500

Mobile Category :
Mobile category is open for everyone. The films have to be shot on mobile phones only. Mobile cameras should have a minimum resolution of 720p. A team gets 50 hours to make the film on given theme, and can have up to 20 people including the team leader.

** Filmmaking Hours – Sep 15, 8pm to Sep 17, 10pm.
** Last date to Register – 14th September, 2017.
** Registration fees – Rs. 1000

Awards Categories :
Following Awards will be given in these three categories individually – Professional, Amateur, and Mobile Filmmaking.
1. Platinum Film of the year
2. Gold Film of the year
3. Silver Film of the year
4. Bronze Film of the year
And award for film #5
All participants who submit films shall receive Certificate of Participation via email after the fest.

For being eligible for the Project :
1. Films must be the original work of the team and must not infringe third-party’s rights
2. Must be suitable for publication and not contain obscene or indecent material
3. Must not contain obscene or pornographic material; may not contain defamatory statements about any person, company, organization or entity
4. Must not invade privacy or other rights of any person, company or entity
5. Must not in any other way violate applicable laws and regulations; and may not contain any copyrighted elements not owned by the team.
6. Films containing prohibited or inappropriate content as determined by the IFP, in its sole discretion, to be inappropriate will be disqualified.
