Suggestions & Ideas For Smart City Jaipur 2015:
After release the list of 98 smart cities the Jaipur Municipal Council (JMC) has also been selected for Smart City Challenge Stage-2 under Center’s most ambitious smart cities mission. Now JMC have a new way for possible up gradation and development in its areas as well as finalising the revenue for it by seeking public suggestions.
“In order to make the smart city proposals more participatory and inclusive, we are inviting suggestions and ideas from citizens.
“The residents can give their suggestions pertaining to infrastructure services and smart solutions such as water supply, recycling and conservation, energy management using smart grid, sanitation including solid waste management and efficient urban mobility, among others,” Under the suggestion plan the JMC is providing a platform for public views.
Smart City:
As our country becomes more urban, our cities need to get smarter. To handle this large-scale urbanization, we’ll need to find new ways to manage complexity, increase efficiency, reduce expenses, and most importantly to improve quality of life.
Smart City is a city which is committed to use Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), and a model of higher quality infrastructures that improve the quality of life of Citizens, while reducing public expenditure.
