NetRiders CCENT Competition :

NetRiders CCENT competition is open to any Cisco Networking Academy student who is currently or was recently enrolled (within ten months from the opening of registration) in one of the first two CCNA Routing and Switching, CCNA Discovery, or CCNA Exploration courses.

The competition is held in two rounds and students participate as individuals. The two rounds are open on a specific date and time and during Round Two students must be proctored by a Cisco Networking Academy Instructor at their academy or at a designated location (varies by country).

Registration : 10 April – 13 July

** Packet Tracer file downloading

Round One : Qualifier
Thursday, 20 July
for ALL except Vietnam
6:30 – 18:30 GMT+8
Two virtual exams one 60 minutes and one 30 minutes
Top five students per academy advance (must have minimum 60% score)

Round Two : Finals
Wednesday, 6 September for ALL
except Malaysia & Singapore – see Rules
9:30 – 17:30 GMT+8
Two 60-minute virtual exams

The Competition Exam Period consists of two (2) rounds :
Round One will be held on Thursday, 20 July 2017 from 06:30 – 18:30 GMT+8 (“Assigned Round One Exam Period”) for all participating countries except Vietnam.

Vietnam will compete in Round One on Tuesday, 29 August from 9:30 – 13:30 GMT+7. Contestants must login and during those times complete the two exams described is Section 3 below.

Round Two will be held on Thursday, 15 September 2017 from 09:30 – 17:30 GMT+8 (“Assigned Round Two Exam Period”) for all participating countries except Malaysia and Singapore. Malaysia will compete in Round Two on Wednesday, 23 August from 9:30 – 13:30 GMT+8.

Singapore will compete in Round Two on Wednesday, 13 September from 9:30 – 13:30 GMT+8. Round Two Contestants will be required to participate under proctoring at their Cisco Networking Academy.

All Contestants in Australia, Bhutan, Fiji, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Maldives, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Samoa, Sri Lanka, Tonga, and Vietnam should ask their instructor to register during the Registration period in anticipation that Contestant will advance to Round Two and require proctoring. Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Singapore, South Korea, and Thailand will hold Round Two at designated locations and detailed information on the location and times will be sent to these Round Two competitors by 16 August 2017.

Competition Exam Period :
** The Competition consists of two Rounds.
** Contestants must have Packet Tracer 7.0 or higher installed on the computer being used.
** You can download the most current version of Packet Tracer at no cost from the Cisco NetAcad website at netacad.com/group/offerings/packet-tracer (post-login).
** Confirm you can participate in all two Rounds prior to registering for the Competition.
** All Competition exams or other submissions must occur at the dates and times indicated by Cisco to be eligible.
** All travel costs associated with NetRiders Asia Pacific and Japan CCENT Competition Round Two on 6 or 13 September 2017 are the responsibility of the Contestant.

** If Contestants are unable to participate in or accept the opportunity to participate in Round Two of the NetRiders Asia Pacific and Japan CCENT 2017 Competition for any reason, Sponsor shall have no further obligation to the Contestants.

** For Rounds One and Two, it is the Contestant’s responsibility to know the time zone for the country they are located.
