#ThankYouPapa. Fathers can contribute a great deal in creating a gender-neutral society by the way they treat their daughters and be the torch-bearers of our Government’s ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ movement.

Guidelines :
1. This is an individual participation contest and team entries would not be allowed. Participants must be Citizens of India and registered users of MyGov.
2. Written entries must be in the form of short essays/write-ups, preferably accompanied by photographs. The written essays should be in either English or Hindi, and no more than 300 words.
The written entries should be submitted as PDF file on MyGov. All videos and photographs should be accompanied by an explanatory caption in English or Hindi not exceeding 50 words.
Participants must create a small video clip of not more than 2 minutes and upload the same on YouTube. After uploading the video clips, please share the link on MyGov.
3. The Government of India (GoI) reserves the right to reject any entry based on its discretion.
4. By registering for participation in the Contest, the Participant(s) warrant that:
a. They have complied with these Entry conditions;
b. Their entry is original;
c. Their entry does not infringe any Intellectual Property Rights of any third party
5. Participants must keep their contact information accurate and up-to-date.
6. GoI reserves the right to cancel or amend all or any part of the competition and/ or the rules without notice for any event that is within the reasonable control of GoI.
7. Any changes to the rules, or cancellation of the competition, will be posted on the Contest page on MyGov portal. It is the responsibility of the participants to keep themselves informed as to any changes to the rules.
8. The GoI will not be held responsible if the participants are not able to upload their entries on MyGov portal before the last date & time of submission for any reason whatsoever.
9. All prizes are non-transferable.
Evaluation Criteria
1. All entries will have to be submitted on or before Tuesday, July 18, 2017.
2. For video/photo: 50 per cent weightage will be given to the content (the individual’s ‘story’) and 50 percent to the quality of the visual.
3. Written entries will be judged for the effort taken, articulations, proximity to the theme.
4. Five winning entries will be awarded exciting prizes.
