Product Design Contest :

Product design includes Form Design and Functional Design. Form design means the shape and appearance of the product. Functional design means the working of the product. Form design is less important as it doesn’t add much to its function.

But, it can’t be ignored because a product must attract the buyer by its 1st impression. Product design includes Package designing too. Because an eye-catching attractive package lures customers to try a product; this increases sales.

Designer first, offer all the Product Designers of India to contest in our Product Design Competition in India. We are giving maximum freedom to the participant to design their products with no such fixed themes. We will like to see the designers to explore their full potential.

You need to submit 6 (Six) designs along with the rationale for the design. You also need to write about the theme and concept of the design in 500 words. Finally, best of luck for our Product Design Contest.

Entry Fees :
Any edits to your entry between 16th August, 2017 to August 25th, 2017, at 11:59 PM IST will constitute a late entry and the extended Last Date fee per entry must be paid by August 31, 2017, at 11:59 PM IST, or the entry will not be judged. Entries cannot be submitted after August 25, 2017, 11:59 PM EST and will not be judged, returned or refunded.

There will be no exceptions to this rule. In the event of a dispute over timing of submission, the time used will be that time which is stamped on the digital submission in the online entry software. Entry fees and late fees that are not paid for in full by the final Last Date will be subject to immediate disqualification. ENTRY FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

Terms and Conditions :
Participating in the competition need not compromise your intellectual property rights of the submitted design concept. This is because:
** If the design concept does not win an award, it is not published and will remain anonymous to the public.
** If the design concept wins an award, you will have sufficient time to file for protection, as there is at least 2 months between the notification of the result and the publication of the work.

** You may also apply not to publish your work even if you win an award. In this instance, only your name and the name of the work is published while all details of the design is kept secret. You will still be able to use the award label for publicity as a winner but you will not be able to take advantage of the yearbook, the exhibition at the museum or the potential media coverage.
