Vasai Virar City Municipal Corporation Mayor’s Marathon 2015 :
Registration Details :
The Fees for Marathon, Half Marathon and 11km timed Race is Rs 600 for Offline and Rs 625 for Online Registration;
Last Date of Registration is 7th Nov 2015.
Entry Rules And Guidelines :
1) You may use a photocopy of the physical or downloaded form from the event website to send in your application.
2) Only one applicant can apply for the event using a single form. Also, do not send in more than one entry per person; multiple applications will entail all being rejected.
3) Applicants must submit their entries only via the Application Modes given in this form. No individual/group has been authorised to collect entries on behalf of the Event.
4) Group Entries will be accepted for the Marathon / Half Marathon and 11KM race categories.
5) Before sending in your application, please check the following –
a. Filled in details against all mandatory fields prefixed with ‘*’ in the application form;
b. Attached a copy of your latest colour passport sized photograph on the form;
c. Attached a copy of your Govt. issued Photo ID proof, i.e. either Passport, Driving license, Election Card, Pan Card or Aadhaar card;
d. Enclosed the requisite application fees (refer to ‘Application Fees’ chart);
e. Signed the ‘waiver’ in the application form.
f. Applicant meets the minimum age eligibility criteria for the chosen race category.
6) Where any discrepancy is found in any of the above mentioned mandatories, your application will not to be accepted.
7) On entry confirmation Marathon and Half marathon will be further classified into age categories for prize money. For more information log on to the event website.
8) Note: Foreigners residing in India who wish to participate and be eligible for the prize money have to produce valid proof of residence. The prize money will be given in Indian Rupees only.
9) Valid email id is mandatory for all timed race participants.
10) Email confirmations will be sent to all the confirmed participants who have given their valid email id in the application form.
11) Requests for cancellation and thereby, refund will not be entertained.
12) Request for change in race category will not be entertained. Be careful while selecting your race category at the time of registration.
13) All confirmed participants/their authorised representatives are required to come to the Mumbai Marathi Patrakar Sangh, Next to Mumbai Press Club, Glass House, Azad Maidan, Mahapalika Marg, Mumbai 400 001 on 18th & 19th November 2015 OR New Viva College (Virar-West) (Marathon Office), on 20th & 21st November 2015 between 10.00 am and 7.00 pm to collect their running number bibs and timing chips. No running number and timing chip will be posted to individual mailing addresses.
i) It is mandatory for Marathon/Half Marathon/11KM participants to collect his/her running number & timing chip personally from the Mumbai Marathi Patrakar Sangh, Next to Mumbai Press Club, Glass House, Azad Maidan OR New Viva College (Virar-West) (Marathon Office). In case of unavoidable circumstances, confirmed participant can send his/her representative to collect running number bib and timing chip on his/her behalf.
ii) Confirmed participants will not be given their running bibs on the race day
iii) Authorised representative must carry with him/her –
a. A printed copy of this email confirmation (if using a smartphone, a copy of the confirmation forwarded by the participant).
b. Photocopy of your (the participant) photographic proof of identity, i.e.: your Aadhar card, passport or PAN card.
c. Photographic proof of identity of your representative visiting the registration counters on your behalf, i.e.: his/her Aadhar card, passport, school/college identity card or PAN card.
iv) Outstation participants can collect their running number and timing chip from New Viva College (Virar-West) (Marathon Office), on 20th and 21st November 2015, between 10.00 am to 7.00 pm.
14) Confirmed participant’s identity and proof of residence may be verified by a verification agency hired for validating the details provided by you in the form.
15) All Marathon/ Half Marathon/11Km Run participant’s race day images will be screened visually after the race and if any of the participant is found not wearing the running number bib allotted to him/her, the participant registered for that BIB will be disqualified from the race and the subsequent edition of the event in 2016.

17) Please go through all information mentioned in this form prior to submitting your application. Confirmation of applications received will be subject to the applicable qualification criteria and Entry Rules & Guidelines given herein.
18) This application form and the right to participate in the event and the rights and benefits available to the applicant under this entry form is at the sole discretion of the Event Organiser, Vasai-Virar City Municipal Corporation, and cannot be transferred to any other person under any circumstances. The applicant alone shall be entitled to the rights and benefits arising out of such confirmation of participation.
