GOF GMO Olympiad
The aim of GMO is to develop Mathematical Aptitude in students so that they can excel in their life as Mathematics is a universal part of human culture. It is the tool and language of commerce, engineering and other sciences – physics, computing, biology etc.

First Stage [Preliminary Exam]
This is the Preliminary Round, conducted at institution level between the months of July to November, all over India. In this round, the question papers consist of 30 MCQ to be solved in 40 minutes on OMR sheet. In Preliminary Exam students can participate only on behalf of school. The Preliminary Exam will be conducted in their respective schools only.
Second Stage
This stage is known as the Mains Round. Around 4 to 5% students qualifying in the Preliminary round are eligible to participate in the mains round, which will be conducted in the month of December. In this round, the question papers consist of 45 MCQ to be solved in 60 minutes on OMR sheet in their respective institutions itself.
Results of the students qualifying for the final round will be announced in last week of January every year.For the students of class 1 to 5 the second stage will be the final stage and winners will be declared on the basis of performance in the second stage only. For classes 6 to 12 winners will be declared after third round.
Third Stage
This stage is known as the Final Round. This round is meant for the students from class 6th to class 12th. (For students of class 1st to class 5th, the 2nd stage will be considered as the final round). All the students above a cut-off mark in the mains round (decided by GOF), will be declared as District Toppers.
These district toppers will further appear in a Skype / Telephone based oral interview session conducted by subject experts from New Delhi during mid February. The qualifier of this round shall be declared as State / National Toppers as per their eligibility.
Registration
Offline Process :
Student can collect registration form from exam coordinator of school by submitting Rs. 100 as registration fee. After filling the form it should be submitted to the exam coordinator of school.
Online Process :
Student can register through online process also. You can make online payment through payment gateway or take a printout of the form and submit it with fee to the school coordinator.
