National Science Concours
The National Science Concours or NSC is the first of its kind National Level Online Science Competition that was started by Pivotal in 2013.

Levels:
Level 1:
The Online test for NSC will be made available from 15th Aug 2017 to 15th Nov 2017. You can give the test from any location, at any time. All you need to do is
** Register at www.nsc2017.com
** Login using your username / password
** In case you are already registered / If you have given NSC in previous years.
** You can use the same username/ password to login. In case you have forgotten your password you can reset it using the ‘Forgot Password’ link
** Once you are logged in, you will be prompted to complete your profile if you have not completed it earlier
** After completing your profile, you will need to enroll for Level I. There is a nominal fee of Rs 150 to enroll for this level.
** You can choose to give the Mock Practice test before the Actual test
** To give the Actual test you need to press the ‘Take Test’ button
** You can give the test only ONCE so make sure you are prepared for it
** The test can also be given on a Tablet or Phone using our Android application. The application can be downloaded from Google Play Store
** The test can be given at any location at any time between 15th Aug 2017 and midnight of 15th Nov 2017
** Results of Level 1 will be announced on 25th Nov 2017. The results will be available online at nsc2017.com
Level 2:
Welcome to Level 2 of NSC. Level one is a stepping stone to the world of experiential learning. Level II is where actual fun begins.
Level 2 is about creating a project of your choice and submitting it for the competition. This project can be on any of the topics which have been published on the NSC Site. You can also suggest your own topic, which needs to be approved by the panel.
This project can either be a research based project which would be submitted as a presentation/document with videos (if required) OR a working model which again would require a video explaining it.
You can also write a document as a report along with the video. We accept only files which are uploaded on the NSC Site, files sent by mail or CD/DVD will not be entertained. You can take support of your school science teachers or your parents.

Step E. Wait for the result and merit list
Step A – Enrolling for Level 2:
** To enroll for Level 2, you need to pay Rs 250 through any of the modes below. You can pay online or you can choose to pay through the conventional method (Draft or Cheque)
** Pay Online, Cash or NEFT or deposit directly in our Bank
** This is mandatory for enrollment into Level 2. The last date for enrolling for Level 2 is Mar 15, 2018.
Step B – Selecting a Project topic:
The list of Projects will be published after results of Level I. There will be mix of research based projects as well as models. We encourage you to choose carefully keeping in mind your interest.

Step C – Create the Project:
The Creation of the project has to be done by you. You can create this project by taking help from your teacher or NSC Team. We encourage you to think out of the box and create something new.
Use of renewable/reusable resources is encouraged. We do not want you to spend too much on the project. We have Subject matter experts who would be happy to assist you in your project. Feel free to call us at 9910223442 for any guidance or help.
Step D – Submit the Project:
The Project needs to be submitted by the March 18, 2018. You will have to create either a presentation or a video and upload it. To upload the file, you need to log into your account at www.nsc2017.com.
You will find the upload option on Dashboard. You can upload multiple files and also write a cover letter or description of the project and why you chose it. This will help the panellist in knowing your line of thinking. Maximum File Size: 250 MB
Step E – Results:
Result of Level II along with Merit list will be announced on April 18th 2018. The Winners of Level II will be part of our Summer Science Camp to be held in May/June. The Summer Science Camp is a unique opportunity for the students to experience science in the outdoors.
