North East Calling Photography Contest :

Event: Destination North East Series

Photography Contest Rules:
1. The Theme of the Photos should be: “Beauty of North-East”
2. All photo submissions should be accompanied by a Caption, along with a small write-up about the background of the photo.
3. Photos should be primary, without editing.
4. The Quality of the photos must be – 300 pixels, not less than 2 MB
5. One participant can submit maximum of 3 photos. Each photo must be submitted separately.
6. The photos have to be uploaded on the Facebook page given – bit.ly/2vwH3ff
7. The Last Date for submission of photos is 11:59 pm, 7th September 2017
8. The final top 20 photos will be selected basis the maximum number of likes received by the photo till 12:00 am on 7th September 2017
9. The selected 20 photos shall be judged by Ministry decided Professional Experts based on creativity, originality and in accordance to the theme.
10. The top 3 winners shall be given cash prizes as follows: First Prize – Rs. 10,000/-, Second Prize – Rs. 7,500/- and Third Prize – Rs. 5,000/-
11. The winners shall be awarded during the Prize Distribution ceremony on 10th September 2017.
12. Top 10 photographs shall be displayed during the event.
13. All photos submitted shall be the property of the Ministry to be used as deemed fit.
14. The decision of Ministry will be final in all regards.

Videography Contest Rules:
1. The video should not be less than 30 seconds and not more than 60 seconds.
2. The Theme of the Video should be: “Explore North-East”
3. All videos should be 480p and above.
4. The videos must be original and shot by the person submitting.
5. One participant can submit maximum of 1 video.
6. The videos have to be uploaded on the Facebook page given – bit.ly/2vwH3ff
7. The Last Date for submission is 11:59 pm, 7th September 2017
8. The final top 10 videos will be selected basis the maximum number of likes received till 12:00 am on 7th September 2017
9. The selected 10 videos shall be judged by Ministry decided Professional Experts based on creativity, originality and in accordance to the theme.
10. The top 3 winners shall be given cash prizes as follows: First Prize – Rs.25,000/-, Second Prize – Rs. 15,000/- and Third Prize – Rs.10,000/-
11. The winners shall be awarded during the Prize Distribution ceremony on 10th September 2017.
12. Top 5 videos shall be displayed during the event.
13. All videos submitted shall be the property of the Ministry to be used as deemed fit.
14. The decision of ministry will be final in all regards.

Choreography Contest Rules:
1. The theme of the Choreography contest shall be “Connect North-East”.
2. The top 3 winning team shall be given cash prizes as follows: First Prize – Rs.50,000/-, Second Prize – Rs. 35,000/- and Third Prize – Rs.25,000/-
3. Competition is only open to College teams.
4. Only 1 entry will be accepted from one college
5. The team should contain minimum 7 participants and maximum 15.
6. Costumes and other expenses shall be borne by the teams themselves
7. No travel and accommodation expense shall be paid to the teams.
8. Competition is open to teams from across India.
9. The teams must submit a 5-minute video of their performance by 11:59 pm, 7th September 2017 to necalling[AT]gmail.com
10. Top 10 teams will be selected to perform Live at the event on 9th September 2017. Teams shall be selected by 12:00 pm 7th September 2017.
11. Final performance shall be 7 minutes long.
12. Performances shall be judged on Originality, Creativity and Best expression of the theme.

Quiz Contest Rules:
1. The theme of the quiz contest shall be ‘Know your North-East’
2. Register your team of 2 members by sending an email of your team name and member to necalling[AT]gmail.com
3. Qualifying and final rounds on the same day. Top 10 qualifying teams to participate in the finals
4. Certificates to all who qualify to be on stage
5. Prizes – Trip to the North-East by NETDC for the top 3 teams and Gift hampers for top 5 teams by NEHHDC
6. Registration also open from 11 am to 12:30 pm on 10th Sept 2017 at the venue.
