Essay Writing Competition For Smart City Gandhinagar 2015:
Citizens of Gandhinagar are invited to participate in the Essay writing competition for Smart city Gandhinagar under the theme of “Mara swapna nu shaher-Gandhinagar”.
This competition is being organized as a part of the citizen engagement process which aims at understanding the dreams and aspirations of the citizens of Gandhinagar. The task of making Gandhinagar a smart city can only be completed by incorporating the valuable suggestions of its very citizens. Hence, we encourage our citizens to participate in this process whole heartedly.
The competition has been organized for two categories:
1) School students,
2) Open for all
To simplify the process, the following template can be used for writing the essay: (Maximum 1000 Words)
** A paragraph on “The idea of your smart city : Gandhinagar”
** A paragraph on “What are the pressing issues / concerns in the city that needs to be addressed?”
** A paragraph on “What are the smart solutions you propose to implement your idea of smart Gandhinagar?”
** A paragraph on “What are your priorities / focus sectors for making Gandhinagar smart?”
The top 3 essays will be rewarded:
School Students (Shall be submitted to Principal)
1st prize – Rs 7,000/-
2nd prize – Rs 5,000/-
3rd prize – Rs 3,000/-
Open for all (Shall be submitted Online):
1st prize – Rs 10,000/-
2nd prize – Rs 7,000/-
3rd prize – Rs 5,000/-
The entries for this contest shall be considered only till 31st October, 2015.
Terms and Conditions:
1. The winner shall be chosen on the basis of Innovative and implementable ideas and creativity.
2. The decision of Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation for the selection of the winner shall be considered as Final.
