We are pleased to inform you that the XXI All India Kumar Surendra Singh Inter School Shooting Championship 2017 in Air Weapon events will be held at Sunbeam Academy, Varanasi from 2nd to 8th October 2017.

It will be conducted by the U.P. State Rifle Association under the patronage of NRAI, as per the program attached. Shooters who qualified during Delhi State Inter School Shooting Competition or 33rd Delhi State Shooting Championship 2017 are eligible to participate in this Championship.
The terms and conditions for participating in this competition are as under:-
1. The competition is open to school students all over the country in individual and team events subject to terms and conditions as laid down in NRAIs circular No. TRG/MATCH BOOK/232/98 dated 28th December 1998 and as amended on 24th May 2002 by Governing Body of NRAI and circulated as per NRAI letter No. TRG/ MATCH BOOK/232/02 dated 7th June 2002.
2. The Last Date for submission of entries is 9th September 2017. Late entry with triple entry fee will need to be deposited directly in NRAI till 18-09-2017. The entry fee should be remitted by cash/money order or by bank Draft in favor of THE NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION OF INDIA to any of the following
i. Mr. Harnam Singh (99994-18603) / Ms. Shakun Bhugra (98118-10950) from 11:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. on weekends at Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Ranges, Tughlakabad, New Delhi.
ii. Mr. F.S. Alam ( 9891019786) MS – 1/17, Atul Grove Road, Opp. Telegraph Lane, New Delhi.
iv. Mr. Rajinder Kumar Sharma (98993-02860) from 12:30 – 4:00 P.M. at C-6, Aruna Park, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi.
v. Mr. Sabir Khan (97185-35896) at Guru Harkrishan Public, Road No 73, Punjabi Bagh West, New Delhi
3. Students will represent their Schools, hence they need to get the entry form signed by school authorities.
4. Shooters who achieved 75% or above (for ISSF MATCHES) and 60% or above (for NR Matches) during 21st Delhi State Inter School Shooting Championship or during 33rd Delhi State Shooting Championship 2017 are eligible to participate in this competition.
5. IT IS MANDATORY FOR ALL SHOOTERS TO GET THEMSELVES REGISTERED WITH NRAI AND OBTAIN SHOOTER ID CARD (IF NOT ALREADY DONE). THE REGISTRATION FORM IS ALSO AVAILABLE ON NRAI WEBSITE www.thenrai.in THE REGISTRATION FEE IS RS. 150/- AND REGISTRATION FORM SHOULD BE SENT TO NRAI AFTER GETTING IT SIGNED BY DELHI STATE RIFLE ASSOCIATION.
6. The entries form duly signed both by the Principal of the School and the parents will be accepted.
7. A shooter will be imposed a penalty of Rs. 3000/- in case they score below 15% of the Qualifying Score as per NRAI Match Book Rule 1.4 during XXI All India Kumar Surendra Singh Inter School Shooting Championship 2017.
8. A penalty of Rs. 200/- will be charged if a shooter loses his/her competitor card/equipment control sheet during the competition. Fresh Card / Equipment Control Sheet will only be issued on the payment of penalty.
9. Team events will be conducted in National Rule (NR) Matches only. Teams can be formed by the shooters of same school and only one team consisting of three shooters per school will be allowed in each event. Final entry of three members of the team must be submitted latest by 17.00 hrs. on 02-10-2017 .
10. Students below the age of 19 and 15 years of age as on 31.12.2017 will be treated as Junior and sub junior shooters respectively. Attested copy of date of birth certificate should be attached with the entry form.
11. Those shooters who are taking part in ISSF matches and are members of the Core Group are not allowed to take part in National Rule Matches.
12. Shooters who have taken part in International competitions are not allowed to take part in this Competition.
13. Shooters can take part in one category i.e. junior or sub junior. 3 medals will be awarded where there are a minimum of 4 entries, 2 medals where there are a minimum of 3 entries, 1 medal where there are a minimum of 2 entries and no medal in case there is a single entry.
14. The competition will be conducted according to ISSF Rules and NRAI Match Book.
15. No arms will be provided to the competitors by NRAI. Air pellets will be made available against cash payment at the range.
16. All the students must be in their School uniform at the time of March Past in Opening/Closing and Prize Distribution Ceremony. Schools are requested to send their school Flags for March Past during Opening/Closing Ceremony.
17. Mr. F.S. Alam ( 98910-19786 ) is the Team Manager of this competition and all shooters are requested to coordinate with him for allotment of lanes.
