Velammal Inter School Talent Olympiad (VISTO) is a wake-up call to the genius that lay dormant in the students of Std. VI to Std. X to raise and benchmark their academic performance in this competitive world.

VISTO is devoted to improve the quality of science education, increase student’s interest in science, providing recognition for outstanding achievements in science education and build the concepts and confidence of the young brains. It is a meticulous academic interscholastic competition consisting of a series of tests at regular intervals (twice a year).

These challenging and motivating tests are well balanced among the various disciplines of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. A balance between knowledge of concepts, process understanding and applications is maintained as well.

The objective of VISTO is to identify students with talent and aptitude to excel in academics, help them to realize their potential, encourage them to take up ace careers in the field of Science and Technology and ensure the growth of the best scientific and skillful minds for the development of the country.

We are glad to make a pitch for VISTO 2017 in all parts of Tamil Nadu in the following dates :

Question Paper Format

The question paper consists of 100 questions from the various disciplines of science. The magnitude of allotment for each subject is given below Subject No of Questions Mark for Each Question

The Question pattern encompasses straight objective type questions, statement type questions, assertion & reason type questions, matching type questions and linked comprehension passage type questions. Each of the 20% of the given questions will test skills like memory, calculation, reasoning & logic, understanding of theory, statement & law and other miscellaneous skills

Instructions :
** The Question pattern encompasses straight objective type questions, statement type questions, assertion & reason type questions, matching type questions and linked comprehension passage type questions.
** Each of the 20% of the given questions will test skills like memory, calculation, reasoning & logic, understanding of theory, statement & law and other miscellaneous skills
** Optical Response Sheet will be given to the students to answer.
** The duration of the examination will be 120 minutes, The Timing of the examination is 10.30 am to 12.30 pm & the question paper distribution is 10.15 am (15 min prior to the exam)
** Exam Roll No will be given in the Hall Ticket, Hall Ticket will be generated one week before the exam and sent by email.
** Use Blue /Black ball point pen to shade, usage of pencil is not allowed
** The Question paper can be taken by the students,
** Answer key will be published in web after 3days
** In about 15 days from the date of examination the results will be officialized.
