19th State Masters’ Swimming Championship :
We are pleased to inform you that we will be conducting the 19th STATE MASTERS’ SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP on 14th and 15th October 2017 from 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. at Vijayanagar Aquatic Centre, Corporation Swimming Pool, RPC Layout, and Bangalore.

ELIGIBILITY TO COMPETE IN THE STATE MASTERS’ CHAMPIONSHIP :
a. All Competitors who participate in the State Masters Meet shall be registered swimmers for the year 2017 Registration may be sent through their respective Clubs ‘or’ individually for Men & Women. (Admission Fee of Rs. 400/- per Swimmer and Registration Fees of Rs. 200/- per Swimmer)
b. Entry Forms and Registration Forms may be xeroxed further as per your requirement.
c. ENTRY FEES: – Entry Fee of Rs. 100/- per event per Swimmer and Rs. 400/- for Relay events per team shall be sent along with the entry forms. Defaulters will not be permitted to participate in the above meet.
d. A Competitor can take part in FOUR Individual events only.
Entries must reach the Hon’ Secretary, Karnataka Swimming Association , 43, 12th Cross, Ram Mandir Road, S R Nagar, Bangalore – 560027 along with the entry fees on or before 7th October 2017.
Late entries and entries on deck will be accepted only with entry fee of Rs.150/ per event. However Registration fees and Admission fees will remain the same. This rule will be strictly followed to streamline the whole registration process for the meet to run smoothly and successfully.
The entries also can be sent on line with fees on SwimIndia from 20th of September.
MEDICAL FITNESS CERTIFICATE :
Participants of all age groups should bring Medical Fitness Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner without which entries will not be accepted.
Masters Competitors must be aware of the need of being well prepared and medically fit before entering into Competitions. They shall assume full responsibility for the risks included in competing in such Competitions.
In consideration of their entry, they must agree to waive and release the State Association and the Organising Committee of the above Championship from any kind of liability for accidents which may cause injury ‘or’ death ‘or’ property loss.
It is also advised that all Masters’ Swimmers who are in the SENIOR CITIZENS Category must be accompanied by one of their family members.
AGE GROUPS :- For all purposes pertaining to Masters’ State Championships, the actual attained age of the Competitors shall be determined as of 31st December of the year of Competition.
GROUP “A” :- 25 to 29 Years.
GROUP “B” :- 30 to 34 Years.
GROUP “C” :- 35 to 39 Years.
GROUP “D” :- 40 to 44 Years.
GROUP “E” :- 45 to 49 Years.
GROUP “F” :- 50 to 54 Years.
GROUP “G” :- 55 to 59 Years.
GROUP “H” :- 60 to 64 Years.
GROUP “I” :- 65 to 69 Years.
GROUP “J” :- 70 to 74 Years.
GROUP “K” :- 75 to 79 Years.
GROUP “L” :- 80 Years & above.
EVENTS :-
GROUP “A” TO “L” :- 50, 100, 200 & 400 m. Free Styke
50 & 100 m. Back Stroke
50 & 100 m. Breast Stroke
50 & 100 m. Butterfly ; 200 m. I.M. ;
4 x 50 m. F.S. & 4 x 50 m. Med. Relays.
DISCIPLINE DURING THE COMPETITION:
a. Those Competitors who infringe the FINA RULES are liable for disqualification.
b. Referee’s decision shall be the FINAL.
c. Swimming events will be held in accordance with latest FINA MASTERS RULES.
d. All races will be conducted with ONE START and on Time Trials basis.
