Blog Post Contest :

We are releasing the topics for the first month of the competition today. We have prepared a list of six topics from some of the most famous recent events in the world, spanning from economy, international organisations, to sports, governance and technology.

All the topics are very relevant for the current affirs component of the General Knowledge section in the CLAT and other law entrance exams in India.

Writing on these topics will also require some research that will expose you to some pertinent static GK topics as well. We wish you the best of luck for your preparation and hope that participation in this contest is beneficial for you.

To participate in the competition, you must write a blog post on any one of the topics (you can submit multiple entries) and your piece must be between 500-1000 words. Please read more about the competition here.

Judge :
We’re very excited to have Sameer Dharur as the first judge for our competition! Sameer is the current president of K-Circle, India’s oldest quiz club. He’s an avid quizzer and quizmaster, and is widely respected in the Quiz circles of the country.

Sameer will jdge this month’s contest and pick the best entry which will then receive prizes. In his own words, Sameer will “endeavour to separate the facts from the alternative ones.”

Guidelines :
There is no entry fee for participation. No prior registration is required.

General guideline: entries will be judged based on two parameters: a. an objective report of the topic chosen; and b. an analysis of the topic, which may include your personal opinion.

Last Date for this month’s entries: 25th October 2017 (11:59 pm IST).
