Honda NAVi Customania Contest

These terms and conditions govern the “Honda NAVi Customania” (“Contest”) administered by Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India Pvt. Ltd. / Honda 2WHEELERS. “/ “us” / “we”). Sending us your design submission/ working on the customisation of your (owner) bike constitutes you as a “Participant” of this contest and creates a binding contract between you and Honda 2WHEELERS.

This contest is a crowd-sourced online and offline event inviting the owners of the Honda NAVi to customise their own bike and submit their designs for a chance to win a platform for showcasing their designs at Auto Expo 2018, subjected to change in gratification by Honda 2WHEELERS.

Eligibility

** Your Vehicle Registration Number for registration and the RC card copy during final entry submission as proof of ownership of a Honda NAVi. If you are participating or registering on behalf of a NAVi owner, we require an NOC from the owner, their details as well as a copy of their RC card.
** This contest is open to participants of all nationalities.
** One member of the participating team must be over the age of 18.
** One team can have a maximum of four participants. At least one of the three participants must be a NAVi owner.
** Do not change the identity of NAVi and Wing Mark or Honda Logo, they should remain on product. Also all the LOGO’s should be clearly visible
** Only aesthetic changes are allowed, any modification and customisation that affects engine and vehicle performance shall not be entertained.

Timelines

Submissions must be sent from 17:00 PM (UTC) on October 5th 2017 to 10:00 AM (UTC) on November 2nd , 2017. Submissions sent before or after this time period will not be considered.

You represent and warrant that all personal information provided by you is correct and accurate. Submitting any false or misleading information may result in disqualification from the contest and/ or receipt of the prize. We reserve the right to disqualify any individual who we find tampering with the entry process, acting in a disruptive manner or violating the rules in any manner whatsoever.

Adjudication of the Winner

** Two winners/ winning entry will be selected by Honda 2WHEELERS at the end of the contest at the city level that will qualify for the regional level. The decision of Honda 2WHEELERS will be final, and no communication or complaints in this regard will be entertained by us. We are not liable to explain the process by which the winner has been chosen.

** The winner will be notified by email/ message/ call within five days of the selection. If he/she is unreachable or does not reply to the prize notification email within 72 hours, the prize will be assumed to have been forfeited and may be awarded to another participant.

** Honda 2WHEELERS. reserves the right to select no winner in the event of sub-standard or limited entries. No queries or communication or complaints in this regard will be entertained by us.
** Honda 2Wheelers shall not be liable in case of warranty lapse occurred due to modification and customisation.

Winner/ Winning Entry Detailed

** Two winners per city – City Finale Winner & Runner Up
** Two winners per city qualify for the regional round
** The city winners will be judged by a jury chosen by Honda 2WHEELERS. The decision of the jury and Honda 2WHEELERS will be final and binding. Under no circumstances will Honda 2WHEELERS or the jury entertain any arguments once the decision is final.

** The city level winners, two per city, qualify for the national level round to compete in the Grand Finale. The national winners will be chosen on the basis of online voting, live ballot voting at the Grand Finale, the mechanism of both will be decided by Honda 2WHEELERS and also by a jury selected by Honda 2WHEELERS.

The combination of the three aforementioned methods— jury, online voting and on-ground ballot voting will select the national winner.

** Any changes in the above, the rights to this or any changes lie with Honda 2WHEELERS and the decision will be final and binding.

Prize

** The national winner will get a platform to showcase his/her customised bike at Auto Expo 2018. There will be only a single-entry winner showcase at Auto Expo 2018.
** The Grand Finale Winner will win a prize money of 2 lac rupees, the first runner up will win a prize money of 1 lac rupees.
** The City Finale winner will win a prize money of 25 thousand rupees and the runner up will win a prize money of 10 thousand rupees.
** Non navi users winner will get 5 thousand rupees, they will customize through Honda navi mobile app.
** Honda 2WHEELERS will appoint a jury on all levels for judging. Their decision will be considered final.
** The right to claim the prize cannot be transferred by the participant to any other person. No cash alternatives or alternative prizes are available. However, we reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to substitute the prize of an item of equal value.
** To claim the prize, the winner will be required to prove his/her age and identity by submitting appropriate documents to that effect (for instance, an ID card or passport). In case the winner is a minor (under 18 years of age), parental consent is mandatory and will have to be provided.
** The prize must be availed within 7 days of the winner announcement by us, failing which it shall lapse.

** The prize is a showcase at the Auto Expo 2018 for the final national winning entry. Honda 2WHEELERS will not in any way be responsible if the winner fails to avail any of the documents for travel, or is unable to travel for any reason whatsoever within the specified travel dates. In such an event, HMS may, at its sole discretion, without being obligated to, offer an alternative prize to the winner.

** Taxes as applicable will be deducted on the prize money as per government laws and regulations.
