1. Inter School Debate Competition
Topic : Collective Action against Corruption in India – A distant dream
Class group : 9th to 12th Class
Medium : Either English or Hindi
Maximum Time Allowed : 04 Minute
Venue : Kendriya Vidyalaya, Andrews Ganj, New Delhi.
Time : 9.00 AM onwards on 02nd November, 2017
Entries per School : 02 (One for and one against the topic)
Prizes :
1st – Rs. 10,000/- + Certificate
2nd – Rs. 7,000/- + Certificate
3rd – Rs. 5,000/- + Certificate

2. Inter School Poster Competition
Topic : Corruption Free India
Poster Size : Poster must be no larger than standard poster board size (22” x 28”) and no smaller than 12” x 17” (A3 size)
Language : English or Hindi
Media : Any – Water colour/Crayon, Pencil etc.
Class group : (a) 6th – 8th (b) 9th – 12th
Prizes :
1st – Rs. 10,000/- + Certificate
2nd – Rs. 7,000/- + Certificate
3rd – Rs. 5,000/- + Certificate

3. Inter College Debate Competition
Date : 31st October, 2017
Topic : Collective Action against Corruption in India – A distant dream
Medium : Either English or Hindi
Maximum Time Allowed : 04 Minute
Venue : Sri Aurobindo College, New Delhi.
Time : 9.30 AM onwards
Maximum entries per College : 04 (02 for and 02 against the topic)
Prizes :
1st – Rs. 10,000/- + Certificate
2nd – Rs. 7,000/- + Certificate
3rd – Rs. 5,000/- + Certificate
Last date for sending nominations : 26th October, 2017
Note:
i) Posters must incorporate creative and original artwork and ideas. Depictions of cartoon, video game, and movie/television characters; celebrities; movie themes; and past poster designs do not constitute creativity and originality.
ii) Posters should not be laminated or mounted on mat board. Also, do not staple, glue, or tape entry forms to the backs of posters.
iii) The participant should write name, class and school at back of poster. They should refrain from writing their name or other identifying information on the front of their poster;
iv) Computer clip art, pictures from magazines and other print media or any other copyrighted brand or product images will not be accepted.
v) The participant should not work in pairs or groups. It should be an individual’s poster;
vi) By submitting a poster, participants give permission for their work to be displayed at various REC conferences, special events, in publications and promotional material, and in electronic format on the internet;
vii) All entries become the property of REC and cannot be returned;
viii) Failure to comply with the guidelines could result in a disqualification of the poster.
ix) The posters will be judged based on the following criteria:
1. In relation with the theme – 30%
2. Artistry – 10%
3. Creativity – 20%
4. Originality – 10%
