Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Slogan Writing Competition :

The Rashtriya Ekta Diwas will be celebrated on 31st October, 2017. The day commemorates the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India.

This occasion provides an opportunity to its citizens to re-affirm their pledge towards being the inherent strength from within to withstand the actual and potential threats to the unity, integrity and security.

Taking forward the message of Unity in Diversity, MHRD is organising a Slogan Making Competition, which can become the rallying chant/slogan to unite the nation.

Last date of submission is 15th November, 2017.

Terms and Conditions :
** The Competition is open to all citizens of India only.?
** All entries must be submitted on mygov.in. Entries submitted through any other medium/ mode would not be considered for evaluation.
** The winners will be awarded a certificate from the Ministry of Home Affairs.
** The winning design of the slogan would be the intellectual property of the Government of India and the winner cannot exercise any right over it. The winning slogan is meant to be used by Government of India for promotional and display purposes, IEC materials and also for any other use as may be deemed appropriate for the initiative.?
** None of the entries must contain any provocative, objectionable or inappropriate content.?
** The slogan must be in either Hindi or English language only.?
** Multiple submissions by the same participant would not be considered. Comments and uploaded file should be in one submission only.?
** Mention of the authors name/ emails, etc anywhere in the body of the slogan will lead to disqualification.?
** The participant must be the same person who has designed the slogan and plagiarism would not be allowed.?
** Please note that the slogan must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957.?
** Anyone found infringing on others’ copyright would be disqualified from the competition. Government of India does not bear any responsibility for copyright violations or infringements of intellectual property carried out by the participants.?
** Participant is to make sure that his/her MyGov profile is accurate and updated since MHRD would be using this for further communication. This includes details such as name, photo, complete postal address, email ID and phone number. Entries with incomplete profiles would not be considered.?
** MHRD reserves the right to cancel or amend all or any part of the Contest and/ or the Terms & Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria.?
** However, any changes to the Terms & Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria, or cancellation of the Contest, will be updated/ posted on the MyGov platform. It would be the responsibility of the participants to keep themselves informed of any changes in the Terms & Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria stated for this Contest.?

Technical Parameters :
** The slogan has to be typed in either Hindi or English and then uploaded.?
** Images of handwritten slogans will not be considered.?
** Participants should upload the Slogan in PDF format only.?
** The slogans should be catchy and should not be more than 20 words?

Evaluation Criteria :
** All the entries received by MHRD would be assessed by a Selection Committee for choosing the winning entries.?
** Entries would be judged on the basis of elements of creativity, originality, composition, technical excellence, simplicity, artistic merit and visual impact.?
** MHRD would have the right over the winning entry for usage in a way felt appropriate by it. Winning participant would have no right or claim on the submitted entries. MHRD shall not use the disqualified entries for any purpose and shall have no intellectual rights over the same.?
** Any legal proceedings arising out of the competition/ its entries/ winners shall be subject to jurisdiction of Delhi.?
