Theme for Quality Month 2017 is “Digital way to Quality life”.

Who Can Participate : Open to all.

Guidelines for Poster Making :
** Poster could be hand sketched or could be sketched by using any software tool/computer graphics.
** For hand sketched posters A4, A3, A2 sheet can be used.

** Captions/Text in both Hindi/English is allowed. Make sure that the text is clear and readable and should stand out visually.
** Textual description of not more than 20 words.
** Entries are to be submitted online.

** Before uploading the image, make sure that your name is mentioned on the bottom right of the image, also mention the subject as “Poster for quality competition”
** For online submissions refer to the link on the “QCI Quality Month 2017”web page.
** For online submissions, participants will receive an email confirmation that the application was received.

** If a contestant is submitting multiple entries under different category, make sure that the entries are unique.
** Posters must be the original idea and creation of the participant and should clearly state the quality viewpoint.

Guidelines for Slogan Writing (Online) :
** Slogan should be concise and not more than 15-20 words.
** Slogan must be action oriented/thought provoking, innovative and catchy in one or two lines typed or neatly hand written form, in Hindi or English.
** For online submissions, participants will receive an email confirmation that the application was received.

For online submissions refer to the link on the “QCI Quality Month 2017” web page. Guidelines for Kaizen Implementation Competition:-
** Organizations/Institutes to submit photographs and videos online stating how they have improved, standardized or excelled in their activities/process/productivity within their organization by following this approach.

** Contestants can submit before and after photographs clearly depicting the improvement in the organization/Institute. One can also upload a small video (not more than 15 seconds) for the same.

** Image/videos should be supported by benefits achieved clearly stating how the organization has achieved performance excellence and what quality tools they have used to achieve the same.
** For online submissions, participants will receive an email confirmation that the application was received.

Guidelines for Essay Writing/Success Story Competition :
** The theme of the Essay/Success Story should be Digital Way To Quality Life.
** The Essay/Success Story should clearly depict and communicate your thoughts.

** Should have an introduction, main body and the conclusion.
** Word limit allowed is 800 to 1000 words.
** You may use pictures and images to support your ideas.

Guidelines for Photography Competition :
** The contests are open for online submissions only, through the contest page available on qcin.org/nbqp/wqm/2017/.

** Submissions will not be accepted once the Last Date lapses.
** Photos submitted must be at least 640 pixels on the shorter side, and no more than 2000 pixels on the longer side. Images should be no larger than 2MB. Photos must be in JPEG format (not less than 300 dpi).

** Applicants can submit max. 2 entries. However, you will be able to upload only images by using the websites upload function (click on add more option to upload the 2nd picture). You are required to provide a unique title & description for each image submitted.
** All submitted photos must be theme based.

** Photos that portray or otherwise include inappropriate and/or offensive content, including provocative nudity, violence, human rights and/or environmental violation, and/or any other contents deemed to be contrary to the law, religious, cultural & moral traditions and practices of India, are strictly prohibited and will be immediately discarded.

** Last date for sending the entries is November 30, 2017. Entries received after the closing date will not be entertained.

Assessment :
** The winning entries will be chosen by a panel of judges, which may comprise of NBQP /QCI staff.
** The submissions will be chosen based on inventiveness and originality.

Notification To The Winners :
** Winners will be informed via email or will be communicated over the phone.
** List of the finalists will also be displayed on QCI website.

Recognition To The Winners :
** Winning entries will receive attractive prizes along with certificate of appreciation.

Terms And Conditions :
** The decision taken by the judges will be final and binding. No requests for disclosure of the judging procedure or reconsideration of the results will be entertained.
** The participants warrants that they allow the contest organizers to publish their work in any manner they see fit.

** All entries become the property of QCI and will not be returned.
** QCI will not be held responsible for any kind of postal delay.
** By entering this contest, entrants are agreeing to all the stated terms and conditions.
