The Challenges :
** Take on the challenge you would like to tackle
Challenge #1 :
** Design a revolutionary monopole transmission tower Inadequate last mile connectivity is a major obstacle in supplying electricity to all. Design a cutting-edge transmission tower that will be a game changer.
Challenge #2 :
** Create a futuristic mechanism to power electrical devices Most of non-metro cities in India face power cuts lasting 4-8 hours a day! obstacle in supplying electricity to all. Create a state-of-the-art mechanism that will keep basic electrical appliances running, even during power cuts.
Challenge #3 :
** Design a ‘made-for-India’ multi-utility light Most of the portable lights that exist today work on the concepts borrowed fromthe western countries. Design a Swiss army knife equivalent of a portable light that will fulfil the needs of a billion Indians.

Judging Criteria :
A team of 5 eminent juries will evaluate each of the 10 shortlisted solutions, as per the criteria below :
1. Closeness to defined problem statement (10%)
2. Technological superiority and knowledge (30%)
3. Business value for Bajaj Electricals (15%)
4. Uniqueness of the solution and out-of-box thinking (30%)
5. Ease of scalability (15%)
FAQs :
1. How should I register for the contest?
Register as a new user, by clicking the “Register” button in the portal. Registration is mandatory for participating in the contest.
2. Do I need a team or can I register as an individual?
You can work on the solution as an individual or as a team.However, each member of the team needs to register individually.
3. Can I work on more than one problem statement?
Yes, you can submit solutions for all three problem statements. However, you can only use one email id to register for one problem statement.
4. Can I submit multiple solutions for one problem statement?
Yes. As long as your ideas are different from each other in each entry and they meet all of the entry criteria detailed in the ‘terms and conditions’ section.
5. Who will own the IP for the solution that I generate for this exercise?
You will own the IP for your solution.In case the solution is shortlisted at the end of stage one, then an IP ownership agreement or a royalty agreement will be applicable. All details are available on the website and details will be discussed directly with the shortlisted participants post completion of stage one.
6. How many winners will be selected?
There will be a total of 3 final winners (this can be individuals or a team).We will not be picking winners for each problem statement but overall.
7. Can I submit solutions using ideas or solutions that already exist and are the IP of someone else?
No. You need to be the owner and creator of the ideas or solutions that you submit. You cannot submit existing solutions that belong to someone else for this contest.
