Children’s Club Chennai Inter School Competitions

The Annual Music, Recitation, Story-telling & Drama competitions will be held on January 21, 27 & 28, 2018, at the Club premises.

Note:
Participants must submit a written/printed copy of the poem & its author, same student may participate in more than one language. Separate prizes for each language

Drama (Group Event) – Std V to IX
Time: 3:00 pm / Date: 21st Jan 2018 [Sunday]

Note:
Participants must submit a written/printed copy of the synopsis of the play & its author. Each group to comprise of 4 or 5 students only

Folk Music (Group Event) – Std V to IX

Competitions Rules

Each school can send only 2 students for each individual event and one entry per group event [Each group to comprise of 4 or 5 students only]

1. The enclosed entry form may be duly completed by the Head of the institution and sent to the Hon. Secretary of the Club.
2. No entrance fee for Inter – school entries. Last date for receipt of entries for all events: 17.01.2018 (Wednesday) by 5:00 PM.
3. Participants should report at the Club at least 15 minutes before the commencement of the event. Change of participants will be permitted only if intimated 1 day in advance to the competition.
4. Judges, nominated by the Club, will select the FIRST and SECOND winners in each event. Consolation prizes will be awarded at the discretion of the judges .Prizes will be distributed on the Club’s Founder’s Day function to be announced. The judges’ decision will be final and binding on all matters relating to the competitions.
5. First prize winners may be required to perform at the Founder’s Day function.Top scoring school will receive the T R V Sastri Rolling Cup. The school that stands second will receive the Dr. S. Balasundaram Rolling Shield.
