Great Lakes CREST 7.0 Innovacia Competition

Innovacia – Turning Your Dreams Into Reality. This event will provide a platform to management students and young entrepreneurs to present and pitch their business ideas.

Candidates with entrepreneurial skills will pitch an original business idea to a panel of potential investors, business experts and mentors. Amongst all the entries received, few of the best ideas will get a chance to present in the final round.

Note:
All the entries received will be evaluated by our judging panel and only the best entries will get a chance to pitch their idea in the final round.

Competition Prizes

First Prize: Rs 30,000 worth
Second Prize: Rs 15,000 worth

Entry & Registration

** Anyone who has an entrepreneurial idea for a start-up company and would like to pitch to a panel of judges for the purpose of possible seed funding , potential prize money, network building and feedback
** Submissions can be made individually or in teams (Max 4 Individuals in a team)
** The submission of the idea should be in the form of an elevator pitch (Video format – 2 to 3mins)
** Each individual or team can only pitch for one idea or concept
** The final round of the event will be held at Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon
** Only the members of the selected team may pitch to the panel of judges or answer questions from the judges and/or audience
** You will be notified ahead of time if you are or not selected to pitch in the final round

Note:
If you are not selected to pitch, you are still encouraged to attend the fest. You’ll still have the opportunity to network with like-minded entrepreneurs and learn about the business development resources

Eligibility

** Entries will only be entertained from current students pursuing Graduate/Post Graduate courses from recognised institutes.
** The pitched idea or concept must be the original work of the individual or team pitching it
** Any idea that classifies as fake, insincere, offensive, immoral, or unethical will be disqualified
** The Idea Pitch organizing committee has the sole discretion to disqualify and/or remove any individual or teams for any reason that it seems appropriate before and/or during the pitch competition for violation of any rules

Rules & Regulations

** Team size 2-3 members.
** Cross-college teams are allowed.
** No limit on the number of participants from each college.
** No limit on the number of events one can participate in.
** No registration fee.
** Only undergraduate, post-graduate and MBA students are eligible to participate.
** A person can register as part of only one team for one event. Violation of this rule will lead to disqualification of the entire team.
** The organizer’s decision shall be final in all matters.

Rounds

Preliminary Round:
Elevator pitch – Contestants would have to prepare a video in which they would pitch their idea. The format of the entry should be “.mp4”.This is to judge how you will pitch a new idea to a potential investor (scenario – You meet a potential investor in an elevator, Impress him with your script).

Time : 2-3 minute long video.

Last Date  : Last Date for the same is 11:59 PM 3rd February 2018.

Final Round:
The result of Preliminary Round will be out by 01:00 PM 5th February 2018. Shortlisted participants will be informed through email. Shortlisted participants will pitch their original business idea to a panel of potential investors, business experts and mentors(A presentation of their entire business idea with a powerpoint and any visual aid of choice). After evaluation, the Winner & Runner-Up will be declared the same day.

** Round 1 ( Elevator Pitch) – 11:59 PM 3rd February 2018
** Result of Round 1 declared – 01:00 PM 5th February 2018
** Round 2 (Final Round) – Starting from 09:00 AM On 15th February 2018

Entries must be in .mp4 format and are to be uploaded to the link which would be provided after registration.
